Khoda ru koolet
by Tooraj on Mon May 02, 2011 12:51 AM PDTI was born in 1952 in Abadan, so I should remember this. In fact, when I was 5 or 6 YO, I once flew in a small airplane over Abadan with my uncle who was a maintenance worker at Abadan intl. airport and remember exactly the aerial part of the video. What a beautiful city and even more beautiful people. But I'm not sure if we had color films at that time since all my photos from then are B&W. Great job Roham! Do I know you? tooraj
Wolek, I am speechless
by عموجان on Sun May 01, 2011 10:10 PM PDTThis was filmed 7 years before I was born there, look different than what I remember. My guess is new Abadan must been only 3 year old then, considering ww2 ended 1945. it's funny Abadan now look like Brit never were there.
Old videos
by Damavand on Sun May 01, 2011 09:15 PM PDTJJ, and they probably keep appearing after we have disappeared!
Great video
by Anahid Hojjati on Sun May 01, 2011 12:06 PM PDTHow interesting it must be for people who can recognize themselves or a friend as one of the kids. This is great video. Thanks Roham.
most excellent
by Jahanshah Javid on Sun May 01, 2011 11:55 AM PDTYou would think I had seen everything about Abadan by now. But thank goodness new stuff from the old days keep popping up. This is really a nice round-up of what the city was like.
Wolek thanks Roham!
