Are they going to find a strong voice
by Joe L. on Fri May 27, 2011 08:26 AM PDTthe system needs to find a strong voice. also they need to bring some of ahmadinejad supporters on board. they have big challenges to deal with and one mistake could cost them big
Ahmadi Nezhad and Mashaei
by ahosseini on Thu May 26, 2011 08:50 PM PDTAhmadi Nezhad and Mashaei are far too unpopular.
It appears as if they want to concede that there was cheating, but not in the way the opposition see it. The way things are going it is evident that they are going to get rid of him soon.
There is a possibility that Khatami with his idea of reconciliation is going to save the system again.
Watch the space.
It's Time..
by Aarash4545 on Thu May 26, 2011 07:53 PM PDTthat AN mounted a coup d'etat and got rid of all these sharoors!Listen to me AN, don't make the same mistake Bani Sadr committed... just get on with it.. start with the biggest turd.. the Rahbar! After all, you'r a MAN (Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad = MAN), so act like one! Time's Gold!

That will probably be the scenario of the next election unless the votes can be located from the last election! Next 2 years will be interesting!
If He Goes Away, on a Summer Day!
by Faramarz on Thu May 26, 2011 10:27 AM PDTThey are trying to force him to behave and finish his term like a good boy!
The last thing that the Regime wants is a resignation or an impeachment. That would throw everything into chaos. His VP's are not trustworthy to become president and if Rahbar steps in and appoint a new president, that would make a mockery of their own constitution and laws!
A new election with the majority of people staying home will also embarrass them. Ahmadi knows all of this and is trying to leverage that and push his own agenda. But the Regime most likely will throw some of his associates in jail and force him to behave! We'll see.

by yolanda on Thu May 26, 2011 09:39 AM PDTIt sounds like they are forcing AN out! They are trying to find an excuse to get rid of him! So who will be AN's successor?
skeletons in cupboards!
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Thu May 26, 2011 09:18 AM PDTAll these "investigations" will be rightly ignored by vast majority of ordinary Iranians otherwise struggling to feed and cloth their familis under astonishing inflation and unemployment, until such day the vast multi billion sums of petro dollars invested in khamenei clan's personal bank accounts in london and switzerland are declared, investigated and khamenei himself, this most corrupt and thieving dictator and mass murderer in modern iranian history is punished accordingly....

Nahh, impooooosible!!!!!!!!!!!!
And wasn't this very same parliament that investigated the [alleged] election fraud and said there was no evidence of any impropriety. And didn't the so called Rahbar who never makes mistakes since he was sent by God herself, reaffirms the election and rejected any election fraud.
Weren't countless defenseless, innocent citizen put in jail, tortured and some executed for saying what now majless is saying
When will it be time to investigate Majless and Rahbar?
