Spain 'halts sale of military helicopters to Iran'

AFP: Spanish police halted the illegal export of nine Bell-112 military transport helicopters to Iran. Police seized the US-made helicopters and arrested five Spanish businessmen suspected of trying to export them along with three Iranians accused of negotiating the purchase of military materiel. In the operation, dubbed "Nam", they raided industrial warehouses in Madrid and Barcelona and snatched helicopters destined for Iran, police said in a statement. Police estimated the total value of the helicopters, spares and other military materiel at about 100 million euros ($140 million) >>>

Allow me to remind you that during the Iran/Iraq war of the 80's Israel did sell arms to Iran so it's true that they sell arms to their enemies to make an extra buck, now you can call me bozo all year long but it wont bend the truth that Israel is not known in the world for morality of their actions.

Nowhere in the news story is Israel or Israelis named (only in the Al Jazeera item is it stated "obtained in Israel", yet the headline on Iranian.com says "Israeli helicopters" and the two comments posted by readers insult Israel and Israelis.  The story says:

"Police seized the US-made helicopters and arrested five Spanish businessmen suspected of trying to export them along with three Iranians accused of negotiating the purchase of military materiel".

Maybe you bozos should be commenting on the American war machine that built the helicopters, and on the criminal Spanish businessmen and on the criminal Iranian illegal arms dealers instead of, or in addition to, on Israel and Israelis, neither of which is implicated in this story except in a brief and unexplained reference by an Arab-based news service.
