Sigh...
by hirre on Wed Nov 02, 2011 01:42 AM PDTThis green movement in Iran is as idiotic as the current regime in Iran...
You have 80-90 % of the green movement in Iran which want to change the IR completly and secularize the whole thing. But unfortunately you have the idiot 10 % who want to keep the regime, but impose some reforms and at the same time the leaders of the green movement in Iran (Karrubi & Mohsavi) belong to this 10 %... So once again you have a dictatorial situation where 10 % want to rule the other 80 %. The problems is not that Mohsavi & Karrubi just want reforms, the problem is that the majority of the 80 % have some trust in either Mohsavi or Karrubi, the way the majority of iranians trusted Khomeini back in 79...
Iranians in Iran never seem to really want to understand their own situation and when they do they always think that there is no hope... If arabs in north africa or Syria would have the iranian mentality there would be no "arab spring"...
The green movement as an active entity like we see in the arab countries is no longer, it's dead. The reason is not because the iranian regime is more brutal, the arab regime proved to be even more as far as the death tolls. The reason is because the green movement in Iran is led or symbolized by regime supporters and not by the people who want to secularize it.
Be Grateful to GOD
by Tavana on Tue Nov 01, 2011 02:23 PM PDTTo have opened your eyes to run away from the colors of the 'great fools!'
All the works of GOD proceed slowly & in pain; but then, their roots are the sturdier and their flowering the lovelier.
