Don't Brush your Donkey

by HHH on

Perversion is Mullahs lifestyle, if you ask them they say don't brush your donkey's hair or else it may look too cute and turn you on.

The reason for these preachings

by choghok on

Is that

a) This mullah has had sexual relation with family member himself and wants to wash his conciense with an excuse.

b) He has followers that do such things and he want to find excuse for them and let them off the hook.

c)  All the above.

Arj

Holy fetishes!

by Arj on

Apparently there's no shortage of holy B.S. whenever IRI is in dire need of convenient Hadiths! What if one of the Emams had a fetish for his mother or daughter..., does that mean the entire population of Iranian women would have to hide from their fathers or sons behind the veil?!

Dear Comments, the sad thing is that those people (the jerk offs) are running the country!

Will one be executed if he publishes the text in Farsi in Iran?

by comments on

What about punishing those who become stimulated too soon? Let’s forget about sex offenders for now.

We have to punish people who are not able to control their sexual desires well. As soon as they see someone without chador and mask they harass or at least masturbate. Or, as soon as women see a man with nice body they masturbate.

There was a terrible camp in the US with cameras in the restrooms to prevent men and women from masturbating after they saw stimulating individuals. Those people must be sex offenders in the US, but they can use the same technology in Iran for the sisters and brothers who have no ability to control their sick thoughts. Will one be executed if he publishes this text in a Farsi newspaper in Iran?

Marx's contribution is his critique of Capitalism: as such not

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

only it has stood the test of time, it has been proven correct over and over again, with each ensuing Capitalist Crisis. What has been universally rejected in the dysfunctional One-Party, system.

Unlike you I have extensively studied that faith and make some points, but in your ever self-appointed role as the judge of good taste, you still tell me how to approach my subject. Who died and made you the ayatollah of discourse?

Yes is very clear from your language that you are all for a polite debate.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

One more thing

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Marxism has failed and rejected by almost the whole world. Islam has its problems and I am a heavy critic of Islam for sure. As I am a critic of all organized religion. But for whatever reason it still has a lot of adherents.

Therefore it is perfectly legitimate to discuss it. Without unwarranted attacks on people. I dislike Shariati and gave reasons for it. But did not stoop to name calling and so on.

Tavana gives his side of Islam fair enough. He is polite and respectful. I don't agree with him but I find his posts inoffensive. Others could either respond by logic; ridicule or insults. I try logic. It may not work but it probably has the best chance. Calling Qum the center of *** is both insulting and wrong. Qum has three things that I know of: Shia clergy training; Silk Rugs and Soohan. It is not a center of prostitution. That kind of language puts the other side on defense and ruins the argument.

Ibrahim Golestan has a story about mullah pimps and a prostitute

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

in Qum. I forget name of the story at the moment.

It's a short story, and me thinks its one of the greatest Iranian short stories ever written. I first read it in an anthology on religion and prostitution in Iran.

It's very large of you not to flag jokes, As I'm sure, you don't mean to, but when you leave comments on people's jokes, you come off sounding like you know who.

So you think it's ironic of me calling you self obsessed? Funny thing, I've been called a narcissist once or twice!

I have no intentions of picking fight with with anybody, let alone a bunch of Camel phocker, illeterate, douchebag, mad men. I'm merely pointing out to the possibilities and limitations of Islam in Iran: based on some type of Rationalism as envisioned by Ismaielieh, it might have a chance, otherwise...

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

In all my posts I have been respectful to you and polite. You don't bother to read them then attack me. I don't want to get in a shouting match with you. But the charge of self obsession is ironic when from you.

Sir how am I to enforce my commands? Plenty of people make suggestions. I have my say just like others do. For example I do not like people ridiculing others. Yes I said I do not find those jokes funny? Am I required by your law to find a joke funny?

I do not flag  jokes and they don't have to take my suggestions. You seem to want to pick fights with people.  Just read your own description of Qum. I am not a Muslim so it does not bother me but it is asking for a fight with Muslims.

Tavan, Islam is all about Obedience and Non-Thinking

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

the only respectful attempt to Rationalize an otherwise  hopeless mode of thought by Ismaieleh has long been banned and slured as Gharmatyan.

VPK, you're so self obsseed its amazing, which I don't mind, but when you start telling people what kind of jokes to say, and what not to say, you don't sound all that different from this a hole. Essentially you're telling people their jokes provok you.

Prof. Faramarz, where did you get that info? Are you sure? It sounds like he had "the Longest living" one alright. That cover design is a great marketing idea, rumors have it they're already using it in Qum. For as you know: the holy city of Qum remains the epicenter of pimps and related items...

Tavana

Provoke Your "Minds!"

by Tavana on

The kind of this clergyman's dislike/hatred of the Quran is nothing of the new. There is a 1400+ years of history behind it! The reason is that the Mullahs are mostly concerned about what 'provokes' the human 'private parts' whereas the Quran is all about 'provoking' the human 'minds!' at each corner of its readings.

Here is what the Quran says about the most fit clothings for both males & females, whether believers or non-believers:

"O children of adam! we have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. but the raiment of righteousness,- that is the best. Such are among the signs of GOD,
that they may receive admonition!
(7:26)"

Is it all about clothing?

by comments on

What about people who get excited by the way other speak, the way they move and walk, the way they look at you, the way they shake hand, the way they kiss you on face, the way they smile, the way they frown, the way they agree with you, the way they disagree with you, what about the way they email you, what about the way they joke with you, what about the way they pull your legs, what about the way they say hello when they pick up the phone, what about their good byes...

What about the fact that they only exist somewhere in the planet?  Oh, Gosh...It's working...:)

Please go ahead and be harsh; all others are. You did not call him a thinker but Pendar did the world does not revolve around you! Anyway we are entitled to our opinions.

A) I said you did not say thinker but others did. Anyway so what?

B) I have not done research on whether he finished or not. Really don't care because he is gone and does not matter. His poison got in and that is what matters.

C) You may call Pahlavi tyranny; fine. To me it was not that bad. I don't care about the one party system. It was stupid but did not bother me. I was able to work as I wanted. To study what I want. Free to have religion or not. Free to open a business. No sanctions; no terrorism; no war. Iranians were respected around the world. If democracy is so great why are Western democracies so deep in the hole?

I am not anti democracy but it is not the top item on my agenda.

You are a very political person most other are not. While a single party system may be top priority to you it was not to me. I also do not agree the population at large was that political. They were manipulated by promises. Free electricity and God's blessing.

default

VPK jaan, don't mean to be harsh on you, but as usuall you're

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

not paying attention to details, as you ought to.

A) I  never called him a 'thinker,' merely a third rate, third world 'writer.' ( According to Antonio Gramsci all religious based writers are simply incapable of proper thinking, since they don't doubt,  or question the basic tenets and origins of their beliefs).

B) Accordign to all sources and records Shariati never finished his studies in France, never got his degree, and was another pseudo academician 'teaching' in Iran.

C) In the overall scheme of things it was Pahalvi's tyranny, disfunctional, brutaly corrupt, ONE PART SYSTEM namely the infamouse RASTAKHIZ Party, that made all these freaking idiots so 'attractive' to the population at large.

At some point we need to develope a national critique of all dictatorial tendencies, and schools of thought in Iran: Religious, Monarchist, Leftist, ...cheers

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Hooshang Jan

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Don't get me going on Shariati :-) To call that man a thinker is to insult "thought". Not just mixed up but a demagogue and very damaging to Iran. People such as him put in the foundations of IRI.

The man goes to France a Capitalist Secular nation. Then comes to Iran prescribing a Religious Marxist system. It meant that he did not learn one thing from his stay there. Proof that a Ph.D. does not mean one knows anything.

What angers me is that he was given such a prominent university position in Iran. It was the Pahlavi government that allowed him to spread his BS. Get a mass of uneducated population and a demagogue you get Islamic Republic.

default

Then again, Shariati was merely an apologist for Muslim invaders

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

and never questioned the basic tenets of Islam. So he's worthy of criticism and being dismissed as a very confused third rate, third world writer with many illusions about his oppressors. He's so out of circulation: good riddance.

Of horny bro...

by پندارنیک on

The deliberate and organized attempts of the Shiite clergy to keep the concept and spirit of the religion to the level of the lowest common denominator of human instinct, is only one reason the works of great thinkers such as Ali Shariati are worthy of reading and pondering.
