Iran unveils new missile, starts air defense site

Reuters: Iran unveiled on Tuesday what it said was an upgraded short-range missile and said it would build a new air defense site, in what appeared to be an attempt to show its readiness against any Israeli attack. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Defence Minister Ahmad Vahidi attended a ceremony at which officials unveiled the fourth-generation Fateh 110 short-range missile, with a range of about 300 km (180 miles), and other upgraded hardware >>>

Iamfine: If the intention is to equate IRI with USA…

That would be as farfetched as when IRI claims to be a democracy.

  Surely all but the hardcore right side in US agree that Americans are spending way too much $$$ on arms when there are hungry people or an education system that ranks far lower than most industrial nations but that is where the similarities end.
