Some Israeli officials criticize Obama for excessive caution

CSM: The US and Israel have postponed a major missile-defense drill to avoid further aggravating tensions with Iran. The decision was said to be a joint one, but there appears to be friction between the two allies on the best overall strategy on curtailing the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. The Israeli state and many US politicians say they believe Iran is working on a nuclear bomb, though US intelligence estimates say such work is not ongoing. According to unnamed Israeli defense officials cited by the Associated Press, the drill will now be rescheduled for the second half of 2012, but at least one other report suggested it had been canceled altogether >>>

And have far more faith in Obama’s wisdom and plan for the region, Iran in particular than those on the other side of the isle who have no thought out plan and full of hawkish rhetoric just to please the special interest in America. One other thing that we all need to keep in mind, the opponent (IRI) is also trying not to be a sitting duck and they will do whatever they can to protect their interest.   Sadly, in my mind, the interest of the IRI AND the US does not coincide with the interest of Iranian people.

You may not believe this, but Obama is actually following a well-thought-out approach to the removal of the Regime and his reactions to the Regime's threats have been consistent.

In this particular case, he is trying to avoid creating tensions in the Region while quietly building up the missile shield. This month the NATO defense shield in Turkey will be operational. EU announced today that the oil embargo will start in July. Saudi Arabia said that they will open up the spigot and let more oil flow. So all is going according to the plan.

The last thing that Obama needs is a minor skirmish with a bunch of yahoos on speed boats in the Persian Gulf. As Obama demonstrated in his handling of Osama killing, he is analytical but decisive, and that's a good thing.

more why none of the "human right" IC condemn murder of Gelareh Bagherzadeh. Is it because it cannot be blamed on Israel? Or maybe because she is not a Palestinian.

If this is a result of US dismay at the alleged Israel agent impersonating CIA officer in the plot to assassinate Iranian scientist has anything to do with this being canceled.

 It is a good decision however to help reduce the already heated atmosphere in the region.
