by Darius Kadivar on

You know when Obama decides to officially recognize the Islamic Republic I mean ...

I don't think Arash and Kamiar are Baha'is. I think they just told the story of their Baha'i cellmates to the world. Roxana Saberi and Maziar Bahari are example of others who did the same. It is so heart warming that their work in HIV/AIDS research is globally recognised. Cogratulations Arash and Kamiar.

Were they arrested for AIDS research or their Baha'i faith ?

by Darius Kadivar on

Was it their work on AIDS or their Baha'i Faith That landed them behind bars ...

Kamiar Alaei | Persecution of Bahá'ís in Iran

Are they Baha'i by the way ? In the above article they seem merely to defend the case of some fellow Baha'i cellmates but don't know if they themselves are.

Can someone enlighten me otherwise ? ...

Cause I just don't see why the IRI would arrest them for their work on AIDS ? ...

Even the Mullahs know about this deadly disease ...

Not that the IRI cares about world opinion but well something about their past predicament doesn't sound entirely trasparent ...

Sane world vs. the Messianic nuts

by Fred on

The Messianic Islamist Rapists imprisoned them, the sane world awarded  them for the good work they do.

That is the difference between the Messianic Islamist Rapists and the civilized world.
