I could see a rather strong support from Iranian people if these sanctions were imposed in support of Iranian people and their aspiration for freedom and democracy.  But the West has shown without any ambiguity about their purpose of these sanctions and only in support of those who advocate “starve Iranians”  Such policy will only alienate and create even more distrust for Iranians from the West and strengthen the hands of Mullahs at the throat of Iranians.

Like those precious iranians who live abroad and have their own lives and buisnesses within those countries as well as in iran, are sure "bee gham" since they do not have a clue as to what actually happens in iran and want this misery to go on for god know s how long, until something magically happens, Like a big bang , and things start to change.

Cuba has been under the harshest sanctions since 1959.  North Korea same.  Their people live in misery and poverty and their governments are still in charge.  You people should read history before commenting.  The West has no problems imposing these sanctions on Iran because they don;t give a damn about the Iranian people.  All they want is to punish people who stand up to them and "eye-ran" is no different that al qaida to them.  In fact you people are catering to the racist and discriminatory behavior of the US government and it's Israeli master.  We all want to see the Iranian regime fall but what they are doing is forcing Iran into a corner.  Three out comes in my opinion are possible: 1.  Iran concedes.  Very low probability, 2.  Iran drops out of the NPT and goes to war against the US and the whole "free world" inclusing the "free Saudis".  Good chance.  3.  Iran will live in economic limbo for the foreseeable futrure.  Good chance.  You people cheering this on should move back to Iran and suffer like the millions of the poor and destitude that are paying for the Israeli land grab policies (distraction of public by raising the Iran threat).

Not enough at all

The warmongering, weaponized nuke acquiring, Messianic Islamist Rapists who murder and kill Iranian men, women and children on a nonstop basis are after turning Iran into North Korea in the heart of the vital Middle East.

To avoid the war the Messianic Islamist Rapists are deadest on imposing on all, backbreaking airtight sanctions plus air/naval quarantine is a must. So is logistical help to the Iranian people to overthrow the warmongers before they succeed.

 These piecemeal sanctions are not enough at all.
