Radio Zamaneh: Iranian media report that former president Mohammad Khatami, a chief reformist figure,
cast a vote in the ninth parliamentary elections. The Mehr News Agency was the first media outlet to
report that Khatami had shown up at a voting station in Damavand >>>
Zorumbaab is absolutely correct in his characterizing Khatami and the rest of the cohorts as a gang of selling their own mothers to make a buck. I would not be surprised if Khatami went through a sex change operation to become a female if it meant for IRR to be in power for one more day. Shame on these animals.
The good question was asked by Doost daaram pas hastam. How can anyone be so naive and believe that Khatami with his 7th century religiously engineered DNA is different than other Mollas in shades of green, black, gray, light brown, dark brown, fokoly, kot-va-shalvary, et al. Haven’t we heard “The Yellow Dog” is the brother of “Jackal” ?!
It is astonishing that you also see comments like “it is disappointing that Khatami voted”. What did you expect from a degenerated coward like him and all of his cohorts? To become the next Kaman-Geer, or to become a Farhad and pick up his axe and hatchet and beat the crap out of the dying body of IRR?Protecting IRR is protecting themselves, they will do that by changing color, become moderate, reformist, “New Islamists”, revisionists, BORN AGAINs, and in any other way, form or shape as long as the CAN. They are like Chameleons, at times even pretty in color, but dangerous. Stay away!
He has always said that the most important thing is protecting the Islamic Republic. In the last 33 years he has always acted to protect the Islamic Regime.
Does anyone know for fact that this is true? It is like beleiving that 64% turned up for voting, How come we should suddenly beleive in this news? The pictures that showed up were not from this election but some years old.
I think it is excellent work by conservatives to spread this "news", since it make Khatami lose face. If he goes and deny voting then he would be marked as anti revolution, and attacked by conservatives and their media.
I would not beleive in this news until he himself or a person close to him says that he has voted.
EDITED: According to BBC he has voted, in that case he is pretty much very coward person. He might think that he is pragmatic but pragmatic for what? Getting 2 people out of jail and continuing of crackdown on all others?
No, he is no more/no less of a coward than Ahmadinezhad.
in this circus of islamic so called republic, khamenei, like ahmadinezhad and other so called "presidents" has a role to play towards a common objective for the benefit of himself and all the "insiders" of this regime of treason, theft and murder. That is, keeping the gravy train otherwise known as the "islamic republic" going at any cost, for as long as possible.
Sadly for him and the circus master khamenei himself, the show is coming to an end. Just a matter of time...........

Great work. It is disappointing that Khatami voted.
I was just listening to "delam Khast", Gogoosh's song. Somehow I am imagining Khatami singing that song. I am not good with manipulating video, audio, etc, there are also copyright issues but if one plays a video of Khatami as he is singing Delam Khast, I think that would be funny.
I am not suggesting that he didn't, as a matter of fact I find him quite capable of it..............but for the sake of a few good old days that our people might have had during his days in office, let's cut him some slack, and give him the benefit of the doubt................let's just assume that he hasn't done it, but he can't say anything about it now................
