Arash Khaan:

by G. Rahmanian on

I left about the same time and that's exactly the promise I made to myself. And here's a pertinent quote:

"The worst promise you can break is one made to yourself!"

Sorry, I don't know whose quote it is.

Shiraz is my hometown

by Arash Kamangir on

I left my hometown nearly 3o years ago and as I left I swore not to return till Shiraz is free like it was once before revolution. I want the IR and his scum fans to know that they made a prison out of shgiraz and Iran but they should know that they could not break our hearts and love for Iranzamin. Long live Iran

These dumb *folks* attack anyone who is against the regime with a label! I loved AO's line: "I (pretend to) love Iran!" Do they actually think we can't see through them?

Oon Yaroo

Faramarz, GR, AO.....!?!??!

by Oon Yaroo on

I think I saw the ILI's picture under the obituary section in NY Times!? Or, was it the lost and found section!? Can you check please?

Unless it is the reverse form of "Haj Ali," "Aliaj" is originally French. In French it it is alliage.

Faramaz - I would always go with PressTV

by Anonymous Observer on

becauae as you know, Iran is the most important country in the world, and as such, every single nation on this planet (except for Syria and Hamas in Gaza) is in a constant state of conspiracy agaisnt Iran. everyone is our enemy, and if we're not careful, and if we do not carefully follow the step by step instructions that are told to us us by the great Iran loving Islamic Republic, and broadcast through the Iran loving PressTV, we will all become mindless zombies of "imperialist -e jahankhar" and the evil "rodent" Zionists- whose animosity with Iran today has absolutely nothing to do with 33 years of "marg bar esraeel" and Imam Khomeini's promise to wipe Israel off the map! plus, they want our women.

Happy Nowruz!

Faramarz

AO

by Faramarz on

Wait a minute.

I just cancelled my subscription to CNN and added Press TV.

You guys are really confusing me now.

Back in the day in Iran, there were people who would bring monkeys around town and did tricks and made some money. One of the tricks was that they would ask the monkey "Jaai-e doost kojaast, where is a friend's place?" And the monkey would touch his head.

Then they would ask the monkey, "Jaai-e doshman kojaast, where is the enemy's place?" And the monkey would touch his ass!

I need that monkey now to tell me which news channel to watch!

Oon Yaroo

Faramarz, the only chemical compound I learned in Chem 8th grade

by Oon Yaroo on

was NaOH that we used to apply to our neighbor's macheh khar.... to get her riled up!

Faramarz

Alloy (Aliaj in Farsi) is a mixture of two or more metals.

I guess you were not paying attention back in the 8th grade!

Happy Norooz

"I(pretend to)loveIran"

by Anonymous Observer on

what's quite puzzling is why a patriot like yourself, who is ready and able to rip Iran's enemy's heads off, is doing in the West (most likely the enemy land of United States) and watching CNN?!!! You should be in Iran getting ready for battle.

such traitors.... tsk, tsk, tsk....

Oon Yaroo

Ostaad ILoveIran, welcome on board!

by Oon Yaroo on

BTW, the line says Iron (Fe) not Steel (alloy!?)

ILoveIran

A melody & line that admonishes the enemies of Iran ...

by ILoveIran on

As foreign countries, and their spy agencies, support groups like MEK/PMOI, impose economic blockades on the Iranian people, call for implementing 'mass starvation of the Iranian people,' and flood news outlets with anti-Iranian propaganda, no line is more poignant in 'Ey Iran' than: "Enemies of Iran, if you are stone, Iran is the steel that breaks stone."  The message is simple and one that every real Iranian understands.  Should any country attempt to attack Iran, the patriots of Iran will defend their soil.

ای ...  دشمن ار تو سنگ خاره‌ای من آهنم

Oon Yaroo

God Bless Shiraz & Iran & True Iranians!

by Oon Yaroo on

These young men and women by singing the beautiful "...Eay Iran Eay Marz'e por Gohar..." are effectively telling IRR to go and stick it up Imam Zaman's @$$.....!

Happy Noruz

ILoveIran

Pity those pretending to be Iranians exploit our holiday online

by ILoveIran on

 ... شیراز عشق من

ای ایران ای مرز پرگهر

ای خاکت سرچشمه هنر

 دور از تو اندیشه بدان

پاینده مانی تو جاودان

ای ...  دشمن ار تو سنگ خاره‌ای من آهنم

The last line is my favorite ... Enemies of Iran, if you are stone, Iran is the steel that breaks stone

DEATH TO THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC

by Simorgh5555 on

FREE IRAN

G. Rahmanian

Civil Disobedience!

by G. Rahmanian on

This is very significant for several reasons.

These people have gathered to celebrate New Year's Day. Celebrations which the ruling reactionary Islamists have opposed vehemently and tried hard to ban and put an end to, forever.

They are peacefully protesting the reactionary regime's authoritarian rule using a time designated for festivities!

Men and women are mingling together which is something the ruling reactionary Islamists have tried to, unsuccessfully, ban.

They're happily singing together which the ruling Islamists hate to see. The reactionary Islamists believe Iranians must only mourn the death of Islamist saints who died 14 centuries ago.

They're singing a song the ruling reactionary Islamists especially the ones born and raised in Iraq, despise.

Hafezieh is a poet's mausoleum and not an Islamist saint's shrine where the ruling reactionary Islamists want people to visit.

Let's hope such protests will continue and spread nationwide.
