Evolution of Filmfarsi!

by Arj on

This seems to be one of the relatively earlier filmfarsis to which Abgusht and piaz, knife wielding, the rosary-counting mother figure at namaz, toubeh of the sinner, watermelon in the waterpond, Qom or Shabdolazim pilgrimage, graveside scenes at Behesht Zahra, Shahre-no scenes... or in other words, the Kucheh Bazari elemnets had not fully been introduced yet!

However, gradually, as the movies became more affordable and accessible to the common classes of viewers, the lumpen-proletarian characteristics of the Filmfarsi and its protagonists grew accordingly to the point that a significant portion of it's viewers ended up becoming members of Komiteh and Pasdar, and even a number of its actors such as Enayat Bakhshi, Hossein Gil, Jalal, Yadi... joined the mid to high ranks of IRGC! Who knows, in all likelihood, our own Mahmoud Ahmadi could deep down be a fan of some Ninash Nash...!!! From Filmfarsi to IRI.., that's a long way, or is it?!

Red Wine

Impressive!

This looks like a very well-made film. The topic is sensational, like other film-farsis, but the professional quality is on a much higher level.
