1. Google's News Page and Iran

Question: Why the news about Iran is headlined by rightwing Israeli newspapers such as Jerusalem Post or Fox News most of the times?

2. Google's founder Sergey Brin is a Russian Jew who makes frequent trips to Israel, he also attends Israel's Independence Day etc.

Question: What does Sergey Brin and Israel gain from ignoring the name 'Persian Gulf'?

Dear Faramarz and Oon Yaroo

One thing is the obvious incompetence of the IR, which by far the majority agree on. No doubt about that. However Iran is not IR, and IR is not Iran, but I admit that most likely people dont think in these terms.

Another thing is Google itself. As the article mentions, a representative said that the company did not want to take any political stance. As I so truthfully read by a commenter, Google Earth is an educational tool. So what is meant by "political stance" in this context? Is using the UN-approved Persian Gulf "taking a political stance"?

Price of belligerence

33 years of Marg Bar [the whole world], attacks on embassies and support of terrorism around the world gets you this.

Now keep blaming the Jews for everything...

1. Iranians are politically disconnect and scattered all over the place with no viable democratic alternatives to IRR in sight,

Just a Symptom of a Larger Problem

First the hostage taking and tarnishing the good name of Iranians as the most hospitable people on the face of the earth, then the war, devastations, torture and mass killings, followed by economic mismanagement, thievery, hostility to Iran’s neighbors, giving away our natural resources and Caspian Sea rights and now this.

Removing the name is a political statement

Since the historical name since herodotos time has been Persian Gulf then removing that name is a political statement from Google side and there are probably millions if not billions of dollars behind the removal

Price of poor politics

This is the price of poor politics and poor foreign relations by a weak country run by illiterates fascists who think they are a match for big powers of the world. This is the least and we will pay a lot more for the dear Islam and the ruling IRI.

Google! who the ... is Google...

I blame everything squarely on two factors!

1- is the Brittish and their stupid lord which in the conflict with Dr. Mosaddegh suggested the distorted, un-original and made up term arabian gulf!!!!!!

2- the constant conflict between the IRI or Akhunds and their animosity with a Iranian culture which in trun was the root cause many disadvantage and misleadingness. Because of this regime(IRI) many people educated or rich or bright in any field left Iran and that alone is one the reasons Iran is  such a weak country or anyone with great ideas or management skills were either killed or chased til they actually left the country so the result is that not only the ancient name of Iran is disputed by a crappy company that could go under any minute but also the crappy MADE UP countries of the SOUTH PERSIAN GULF are now claiming Iranian lands!!!!!

I say good job to the Brittis for ... up once again with our country and great job by the IRI stupid rulers and great job by the Idiots in the south PERSIAN GULF that have no idea how much and how many of them are going to die over made up story by a british lord!!!!!

گوگل باهوشتر از این حرفها است،اینها دیگر نمیخواهند در وسطِ این دعوای مسخره..طرفِ کسی‌ را گیرند،با این حال نقشِ سیاستِ خارجی‌ ایالات متحده درین تصمیمِ گوگل بسیار برجسته است.

با این حال خدا کند که مسئولانِ امارات بر علیه ایران شکایتی را در مجامع بین المللی تنظیم نکنند (لااقل الان درین دورانِ وانفسای سیاسی و اجتماعی مملکتمان نکند) ... دوستی‌ از روزنامه نگاران نشنال جئوگرافی چندی پیش میگفت که امارات چند سال است که گروهی (تاریخدان،جغرافیدان،سیاستگرا،حقوقدان و ...) را مخفیانه به گرد آورده تا اینان درین زمینه فعال باشند .

با ارائه چند کاغذ پاره و چند لات بازی (به شیوه سپاه و ارتشِ ایرانِ فعلی‌) و چند عربده کشی‌ (به شیوه احمدی نژادی و به سبکِ آخوندی) و چند ماله کشی‌ (از کشورهای دسته سوم و چهارم که معمولاً قضات از آنجا انتخاب میشوند و قضیه دوره‌ای است !) ،نمیتوان در برابرِ دادگاه‌های بین المللی که مو از ماست میکشند حاضر شده و حتی تصور کرد که قسمت با ما خواهد بود و ایران برنده ماجرا !

باید طرحی نو درانداخت (روشنفکر و انتلکتوال به دردمان نمی‌خورد،قابلِ توجه وکلای معروف ایرانی ساکن خارجه،محققان و دیگر اندیشمندان) وگرنه همین چند سیر خاکی که درانجا داریم نیز به یغما خواهد رفت.

خدا آخر و عاقبتِ مملکتِ ما را حفظ کند.
