by persianone33 on Mon May 28, 2012 07:36 AM PDTneed the help and need it now and personally everytime I hear RP talk, he is talking about human rights and democracy he is talking about bringing various opposition groups together, he is talking about the youth. These are things that matter most.
I'm in my 30s and I'm losing hope that I will ever be able to take my profession as a consultant and work on a project in iran and help rebuild my country, thats my dream along with many things I wish for others there. To me RP seems to be the only person thats got it right while others just sit there and debate about 30yrs ago. What's that gotten us so far?
This is my personal view:
I don't care about monarchy or your republic or Islam, I care about my loved ones back home, my dad who is almost out of work after having had an amazing life due to recent sanctions which I believe are rightfully in place, and I care about being able to live in Iran again one day while having the ability to be myself.
RP seems to be the catalyst required atleast to get the worlds attn if we put our differences aside and support him.
Many times after listening to his interviews I've wanted to send him an email and ask, but how can a regular Iranian, outside of Iran without any special financial privilages help. I might send him that note today, I'll let you know if he writes back. It'd be great to find out what ordinary Iranians can do inside and outside Iran to support his cause
Btw I really wish they'd do some of these interviews in Farsi, as well as then in English. then it would be so much easier to share on other media outlets and have the rest of the world listen too.

by Arash Kamangir on Mon May 28, 2012 03:34 AM PDTReza Pahlavi should consider Iran as an occupied country and try to organize ( with help of Israel ) a resistance force such as that of french resistance or polish resistance during 2nd World War. Reza Pahlavi should understand that IR will not go unless in a bloody civil war such as we have recently seen in Libya or Syria. He will see that people will support him in his strugle against IR.

I find Mr R Pahlavi
by Khebedin on Sun May 27, 2012 06:24 PM PDTI find Mr R Pahlavi an honest character and I can relate to what he says. If he was standing for presedency in Iran, today, he would have my vote. And I must say, this is simply because the current governt in Iran sadly has failed in most areas.
BBC & Deutche Welle Anchors call him "Mr." Radio Farda Prince
by Darius Kadivar on Mon May 28, 2012 04:04 AM PDTAs an Unapologetic Constititonal Monarchist I find it particularly insulting that Journalists of Iranian Heritage do not address Crown Prince Reza be it by his legitimate title 'Crown Prince' aka 'Shahpour' or 'Shahzadeh' ...
One would expect this even more from Journalists and Anchors of the British Broadcasting Corporation particularly on the year of the Queen's Jubilee to be familiar with the protocole required when addressing a Royalty:
DIAMOND JUBILEE ALBUM: Shahbanou Farah Visits Hampton Court & Windsor Castle (1976)
Let it be reminded that Royals remain Royals unless Beheaded regardless of whether or not the person who bears the title explicitly asks to be addressed as such or not.
The same is true for former Presidents. US President Clinton or France's Giscard D'Estaing, Chirac or Sarkozy none of whom are in Office today yet are addressed to in interviews as President Clinton, Président Sarkozy, Président Chirac, Président Giscard d'Estaing by journalists Worldwide.
This is done in respect toward the CONSTITUENCY they Represent even once Defeated in elections.
Doing otherwise is regarded as an insult not just towards a given President or even former Ruling Monarch but towards their Cosntituency.
If Crown Prince Reza refuses to impose the manner in which people wish to address him it is by RESPECT and TOLERANCE for those who may not share Monarchist sympathies and who are downright Republican.
It's called Courtesy which is a minimum one would expect from any public figure let alone a royalty.
But if an Anchor doesn't abide to the same Courtesy particularly on Public television then he or she is expressing a Political bias which is at odds with Journalistic ethics and editorial rules particulalry on Public Media networks for which citizens of that country pay taxes for.
To my knowledge Iranians in Great Britain, Germany, France or the US can equally be Republican as well as Monarchists. As such to see Journalists on Public television take an ideological stand point is undemocratic and unethical.
Otherwise might as well work for private companies.
By Refusing to call His Majesty by his Royal Status these journalists are expressing an Ideological bias which I find is insulting towards Crown Prince Reza's Monarchist Constituency and his followers who expect to be respected.
And if you claim that there are no more Iranians advocating the Restoration of the Monarchy back home in Iran then look here:
Iranian Woman Shouts Javid shah
Some even died for that belief and Loyalty not long ago ...
And General Rahimi's Wife even resides in the UK:
So Don't they deserve to be Respected too ?
By refusing to Call His Majesty Crown Prince or Shahzadeh or Shapour you are disrespecting us and not merely his Majesty whom we Monarchist consider as our Sovereign whether You like it or not !
So cut the Hypocrisy Ma'am !

RP interview:
