What did you think sanctions do?

They damage the economy, increase unemployment, drug use, prostitution, robberies, destroy families and much more and forcing kids to join basig to feed their parents and siblings. They have chosen the best option available to them, both by supporters of sanctions and IRI.   

Well... they kicked butt during Iran Iraq war !!

why not give credit where it is due! 

Poor kids ... they are mostly from villages and poor families.   Let us hope there will be no war.. we have seen enough of them died during Iran Iraq war .. 

I feel so sad even seeing these kids again being recruited !

Comparing them to the Nazi youth is so unfair  ..  brain washed .. yes !! ...  but these kids never invaded any other country !   They only defended their own country and will do so again !

Yes, the same mentality existed in Germany then and it exists today. Then they wanted to annihilate Jews and now Muslims. That is another reason IRI can use  to brainwash these kids.

No different than Nazi Brown Shirts

same degree of blind loyalty toward a dark ideology, usually at a young age. If you watch footage from early days of Nazi power grab in Germany, you will see Brown Shirts thugs in unifroms, transported in back of trucks, attacking Jewish businesses.  The same mentality exists in these young men.

There's a book called "The Burden of Hitler's Legacy."  It's written by a man who was a devout member of the Hitler Youth.  It describes what happens to him after the fall of the Third Reich.  Pretty eye opening.  Something for these guys to look forward to.  Here's a summary of the book from Amazon:

Are you saying there were no Basijis before the sanctions?!!

I'd like to know how long it has taken you to build and then immerse yourself in the imaginary world you seem to live in.

Basijs are uneducated, hateful, lazy, complex filled ("oghdeyee") individuals who know they can earn their noone shab much easier by being a Basij vs an amaleh or other low paying but decent honorable jobs.

You are ironically right though; high unemployment, and lack of access to education, thanks to the Islamic regime has contributed a lot to forcing people to find ANY sources of income including selling drugs, prostitution etc.

In the time it took the mullahs to reduce Iran to a third world country despite abundance of natural resources, S. Korea has become the 6th largest world economy without a drop of oil or a cubic meter of natural gas.
