  So You are against sanction of the Islamist occupiers of Iran , As your article clearly indicates. Are you with the  Islamist Occupier of Iran ? if you are not then what is your answer ?   to 33 years of arrests, torture,execution of Innocnet Iranians at the hand of these Islamist Thugs?

This works great for the government

As I posted recent news article you can't expect anything less by these policies against Iran. History from international sanction policies and Iran itself has shown that most uprisings are during social prosperities not poor economic hardship.

Counties that are not based on production and labor tend to have more possibilities for freedom when the middle class is active. 2009 and Arab spring is clearly indicative of this idea that Middle Class is the most active voice for change in a developing society.

For years we have been arguing whether sanctions are good and what they lead to. Again and again we are witnessing that sanctions are pushing the active political participants aside and promote more conservative and religious faction of a society.

For countries with far less resources than Iran, sanctions have not worked for the people. Now it's time to review the famous saying that defines insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

The system will continue helping its supporters, which are the lowest income and tries to kill whatever left of the middle class. The system will not fall by this policy as Cuba, North Korea, and Iraq to name a few did not fall.
 
In case of continuation of sanctions, look for more depressed society with far less capabilities in medicine and education while the military programs and Islamic teachings continue to increase. Many more people will hide under the blanket of God and religion as hardship increases. Far less people will have resources to risk their lives and society will be more separated and less compassionate, which helps strengthening the government vs. people.

For those who still not on board that sanctions helps the system and makes it less answerable to common needs I say enjoy while reminding them that there is no sign of revolution in Iran. For others I would ask to take a more active role in helping Iranians to find their own ways by uniting against sanctions and policies that hurt the people.

اما كسي از قحطي صحبت نمي كرد!
يادم هست با تما فشارها وقتي وانت ارتشي براي جمع آوري كمك هاي مردمي وارد كوچه مي شد بسته هاي مواد غذايي، لباس و پتو از تمام خانه ها سرازير بود.
همسايه ها از حال هم با خبر بودند، لبخند بود، مهرباني بود، خب درد هم بود.
امروز اما فروشگاه هاي مملو از اجناس لوكس خارجي در هر محله و گوشه كناري به چشم مي خورند و هرچه بخواهيد و نخواهيد در آنها هست. از انواع شكلات و تنقلات گرفته تا صابون و شامپوي خارجي، لباس و لوازم آرايش تا موبايل و تبلت، داروهاي لاغري تا صندلي هاي ماساژور، نوشابه انرژي زا تا بستني با روكش طلا، رينگ اسپرت تا...
و حال با تن هاي فربه، تكيه زده بر صندلي ها نرم اتومبيل هاي گرانقيمت از شنيدن كلمه قحطي به لرزه افتاده به سوي بازارها هجوم مي بريم.
مبادا تي شرت بنتون گيرمان نيايد! مبادا زيتون مديترانه ايي ناياب شود! ويسكي گيرمان نيايد چي!؟ اشتهايمان براي مصرف، تجمل، پز دادن و له كردن ديگران سيري ناپذير شده است.
ورشكسته شدن انتشارت، بي سوادي دانشجوهامان، بي سوادي استادها، عقب افتادگي در علم و فرهنگ و هنر، تعطيلي خانه سينما، بسته شدن مطبوعات و ... برايمان مهم نيست ولي از گران شدن ادكلن مورد علاقه مان سخت نگرانيم! ...
مي شود كتابها نوشت...

خلاصه اينكه اين روزها لبخند جايش را به پرخاش داده و مهرباني به خشم.
هركس تنها به فكر خويش است به فكر تن خويش!
قحطي امروز قحطي انسانيت است قحطی همدلی قحطی عشق!

parliamentary system on the horizon

I have a feeling Ahmadinejad will be the last Iranian president under the I.R as I'm pretty sure Khamenei will make a plea for a change in government. I wouldn't be suprised following Ahmadinjead's term Iran moves toward a parliamentary system of government with a prime minister that's appointed by the majlis.

to recent wave of indusrtrail strikes and and almost weekly gatherings of workers, teachers, etc outside the Majlis, complaining about unemployment, inflation, grinding povert.
