Photo essay: Frenchman falls in love with an Iranian -- and Iranians
Lot of my images are about Iran. This country gave me a wife and 3 daughters, so to say, everything worthy I have on earth. I shall remind all my life the day I landed for the first time on Iranian soil. Iran, its land(s), culture(s), and above all, Iranians captured my soul and kept it. A half of my heart rests somewhere buried in the soil of Fars, hidden in the shadow of a narenj tree, or behind the corner of a street in Shiraz. I simply can’t do anything else but go there once a year, rebreath and revive for a desperately short time before coming back to France and work with the other living deads!

My favorites are # 30,31,32,33. They reminded me of this folk music (Lori).

Aah! Aah! Peck! Peck! Napkin! Napkin! Clap! Clap!
And this one, although I wouldn't have taken or posted a photo of the guy in the next photo! Ruins the romantic pose by the girl which is very natural!
Everything is sacred.

Gorgeous photographs of a land
by Ahmed from Bahrain on Wed Dec 23, 2009 12:57 AM PSTthat is unforgettable. You have captured the essence of what Persia is. Thank you for assimilating into this beautiful land through marriage. The bond is eternal.
Many who marry a foreigner want to change them into their own way, instead of appreciating who they are. I married a New Zealander and have merged into this far away landscape. Likewise my wife has taken to Eastern culture and loves all things Persian.
I loved photo no.22. It evokes some dreamy picnic with Persian angels and waterfall. Heaven is indeed here and now. We make it so.
Thank you. Qorbanat.
