I was there 3 yeas ago and I took many photos. I thought I had good photos, but these are much better than mine, as a whole. May be one reason was that I went in fall.

Most of these places don't look familiar to me. It is very obvious that the photographer was either local, and or a professional indeed, since these places are not reachable by highways or paved roads.  Either way, they are great and I thank you for sharing them with us.

Question: When did you take the photos? Around April? What camera and lenses did you use? Merci!

I am not unfamiliar with the landscapes of Kordestan. I've been to most places in Kordestand and in fact the landscapes and nature of Kordestan is one of the most beautiful in Iran.

We've seen many beautiful photo albums from Iran and I know there have been tours planned for Kurdistan and these pictures show how beautiful it is.  I haven't had a chance to go to Kurdistan yet, hopefully next time.

Funny how Iranian landscape is so recognisable. I often know on TV the film taken is in Iran before the presenter saying that it is. Beautiful country we have.
