by Anony_mous (not verified) on Sat Nov 15, 2008 04:14 PM PSTThank you for the lovely pictures. As "Shahriar" mentioned, it is interesting to see the city through pictures, each one tells a story. I have called Toronto my city for the past 22 years and to me it is the same as Tehran after all these years. I have lived more number of years here now than the in Tehran. From my desk at work I can see the CN tower and the TD tower . "JavadAgha" yes it gets cold as HELL here but I like to see the change of the season which is something you do not see at some parts of the world. It is a much safer city to live in, than some big cities down south. It is really multicultural and foreigners don't feel like they are foreigners here.
"Pesar-Gol" what you said is truly a big lie about this city being characterless and dirty. In fact a few times I was at USA, I found those streets being dirtier than streets in Toronto.
Thanks + Tabrik
by Javadagha on Sat Nov 15, 2008 06:22 AM PSTThanks for the pictures. Some people might think Toronto is like this all the time. I was there many years ago to for business. It was cold as HELL. Canada gets freezing six to seven months a year. Not for me.
Tabrik to hajiagha for getting his work published.
Canada also has Ey-ranians who think Toronto is heaven. Very sad.
Pessargol where did you get your information
by Anonymous2 (not verified) on Sat Nov 15, 2008 05:50 AM PSTThis city has received awards for its cleanliness and waste management and you call it dirty?! I am really surprise.
I am getting suspicious, you may have not seen Toronto or have seen very briefly.
Here's the real link Haji

Toronto the good
by Shahriar on Fri Nov 14, 2008 11:39 AM PSTIt is interesting to see your own city through somebody else's lense. Toronto is indeed a very inviting city.
You should have seen the city during the power blackout a few years ago that lasted three days. Each night there were barbecue parties in many neighbourhoods since you could no longer keep the meat refrigerated. And comparing the crime rate to the U.S. cities of Toronto's size will tell you the rest of the story.
Thanks for the pictures.
