Fakhteh Zamani runs ADAPP.  This is what ADAPP is praising on the ADAPP site (see photo), and it is written by the man (Mr. Asgharzadeh) who claims that Iran’s name was created by the Nazis.[1]  The name of Iran derives from Middle Persian, Ērān, from thousands of years ago, and is noted in the inscription that accompanies the relief of ArdashirI at Naqsh-e Rustam.  Does anyone really think the Nazis came up with the word Iranshahr?

ADAPP (run by Fakhteh Zamani) Praises this (see photo & text below):

Soviets Form Puppet Government in Northern Iran:

De-archived materials show the USSR formed the government of Pishevari (which seized Northern Iran) by the direct orders of Stalin.[2]

The Soviet military supported the new 'autonomous' entity and prevented Iranian army from restoring governmental control over the area. After Soviet withdrawal, Iranian troops entered the region in December 1946 and Pishevari and his cabinet fled to the Soviet Union.[3]

According to Professor. Gary R. Hess:

'On December 11, an Iranian force entered Tabriz and the Peeshavari government quickly collapsed. The Soviet willingness to forego its influence in (Iranian) Azerbaijan probably resulted from several factors, including the realization that the sentiment for autonomy had been exaggerated and that oil concessions remained the more desirable long-term Soviet Objective.'[4]

According to the Fravahr site, an Iranian Jew that served in the Israeli army, by the name of Ishak Parviz Nazarian, funds many of these types of "human rights" (separatist) groups.[5]

but if you get no joy for your demands, don't go round blaming individuals.

As for your conclusions, lets just say many would disagree.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

As Anahid said

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

AO and some others are turning IC into their private playground. The attempt is obviously to run others either by shouting them down; insults or attacks. The sad part is in many instances they have succeeded. Some people left quietly; others like me just don't participate as much as before. A blog for poetry is not a debate forum for Fesenjoon and AO. They may write their own blog.

The obvious conclusion is that neither AO nor Fesenjoon (if they are really different people) are interested in a debate. Rather they want to wreck the poetry blog and turn it into a joke. Much to the detriment of IC and people genuinely interested in it. Of course IC is a private business and admin rules. But remember the readers make a site. When they are all chased out there will be nothing.

What you are doing by following certain IDs around the site is harassing members who you disagree with and spamming blogs with unrelated information.

Rules of conduct....

by Mohammad Ala on

I learned today several other members such as TigerLilly and Disenchanted were banned.  I disagree with Admin.  Let me say few words:

IC Admin should have rules for what can be posted or what is tolerated before banning a member.  In my view, if a member is banned, he or she should be permitted to return if he  or she accepts to obey the rules… the rules should apply to all members equally.

The Admin is responsible for letting bogus members harass people such as “Hafez-for-the-beginners.”  The main faults fall on the shoulder of publisher of this site.  Harassing members must stop immediately…. No one should say… “report or deport them,” or use words such as “mozdoor, Boy, and other derogatory terms.”  The word F has been used by several members who continue to post, but WHY ban some members not others?

Anyone who threatens members is risking criminal intent. This needs to be included, so Iranians actually understand what personal responsibility is, as well as personal liability.

Admin, maybe you should post what is allowed, what the rules are, and what the consequences of breaking these rules would be.  In some blogs, out of 17 comments 10 mostly negative belonged to the person who posted the blog… blogs have become like “gha-veh khoneh.”

Sad to see several good members are not posting anymore…. So much for “freedom of speech.”

Democracy will not come to us by talking about it or posting articles about it or harassing members who you disagree with them… the idea of democracy is great but many at IC such as AO, AI, and Fesenjoon are not ready for it….

AO, one can say that on that

hafez  blog, you were the troll. you kept repeating your comments against poetry many times on that thread. you have written these comments for months and are not adding anything new to them. your comments had nothing to do with that  blog. some readers can see your behavior as trying to run people out of the site.

Anonymous Observer

Dear Admin

by Anonymous Observer on

What's the site's policy on trolls who abuse users by demanding their ouster because the other users' opinions do not match the infantile,   cocoon like, ethnocentric, Third World isolationist, self aggrandizing mindset of said trolls?  Certainly, the site wants to create an environment where there is a robust debate on various issues, and not one where everyone just shows up to congratulate one other on "job well done" and the greatness of the Iranian culture.  Isn't stifling legitimate debate on issues a form of abuse?  Fesenjoon and I were having a debate on a cultural issue on this blog:

//iranian.com/main/blog/hafez-beginners/hafez-inspiring-goethe

Read our comments on the thread.  No profanity was used.  No one was personally attacked by either myself or Fesenjoon.  Instead, we were the subject of attacks by three people, one of whom was properly blocked for using the F word and other profanities against me.  Two others still kept on going, and one of them, who is still carrying on his abuse on this thread, asked for us to be banned, simply because we had a diffrence of opinion with the blogger.  Are users supposed to just show up on blogs and congratulate the blogger on how great he/she is?  Should we be in fear of being blocked for experessing our views?  Why should trolls be allowed to abuse others by threatening them with being blocked for expressing an opinion?  Shouldn't they face consequences for trying to silence others and stifle debate?  Another one is Mr. Ala, who has been saying the same thing about me on varrious threads (see below) as a consequeence of my comments on the thread linked above.  This type of abuse should really be brought to an end.

We all left  Iran because we wanted to live in a free society.  I always welcome robust debates on my blogs.  Just see how much abuse I receive on my blogs, from the likes of the troll who is demanding my ouster below.

You have a site where differences of opinion can be debated.  You should not allow vetiges of Iranian style dictatorship control your site.  If the motto of this site is nothing sacred, then those who want to have red lines and "sacred" lines when it comes to legitimate debate should not be allowed to bully others, which is what is happening here.  Bullying of users by intolerant vestiges of Iranian ditatorial mindset should be eliminated from a free site.

If abuse and profanity were being applied fairly then Fesenjoon and AO would not be running exempt. But they are.

How dare you AO!?

by Artificial Intelligence on

This is not anti Semitic, this is anti Zionist. The XX control Hollywood. The XX destroyed the black race. The XX is now, through control of Hollywood, is destroying the white race. The xx will destroy Iran (I mean IRI) next.

You only help the xx when you express an opinion about our culture and poetry. This is bogus, under a bogus name helping the bogus xx.

What gives? 2 blogs a day for that xx Fred and now no blogs for IloveIRan? What gives?

Anonymous Observer

Yes, AI jaan, but you have to take into consideration

by Anonymous Observer on

that ILI was only being "careless" when he made that comment.  And, quite frankly, rabid antisemites exist in all countries.  So, really, he should be excused. :-)

But that damned AO, expressing his opinion about the our culture's excessive obsession with poetry on a blog...now, that's a personal attack for which "action" should be taken immediately.

Abusive, profanity

by admin on

The reason for closing any account on iranian.com is simple: Profanity, abuse and personal attacks.

Mohammad Ala

Why? IC members deserve an explanation.

by Mohammad Ala on

Why ILoveIran's account is blocked?  A month ago, Jahan Khalili's account was blocked.  There are members who accuse others, use profanity and continue their "rants."  Why?

Hafez-for-the-beginners was attacked by AO without any action taken.

IC members deserve an explanation.

Interesting

by MRX1 on

I find it interesting the good doctor 'Ihatejews' is now talking about sepratism in Iran! (shocked he is not blaming israel )

There is no such a thing as persian chuvenism. This  is just fabricated hocus pocus that was created by seperatist folks.

The real issue in Iran is the current regime's attack on Iranian culture on a 7/24 basis for 30 plus years now.(The glue that kept what is left of Iran zamin together for thoused plus years) as a result if this sustain attack for such a long period wehave now ended up with a one or two  generations that are not aware of their past, their culture, and their history. As if that is not bad enough, the regime has been trying hard to force an alian culture of shia islam instead of pormoting Iranian culture. So people are left with no choice but to focus what comes naturaly to them which is their own inner soul and ethnicty. combine this with  political, economical and social failour by this regime and you have explosive situation on your hand.

I feel sorry for the next person or regime that comes to power  after this psychos departure from the scene. He or she or it will have it's hand full for years to come.

one "great success" for all the monies your thug masters waisted on that "project."

As far as the extent and record of IR's killing machine, just check the "Prisoner of the Day" column here on IC, for a daily account of just how much IR kills, tortures and incarcerates Iranian Arabs, Baluch, Turkmen, Kurds,...

IR's continued terror over Iranian populace is the best excuse, and reason for MEK,  and all forigners threats.

You like to put an end to MEK and foreigne intervention in Iran, overthrow Islamic Republic of Hell. Then again, if you do that, you'll lose your only source of income and have to look for a real job. Decisions, decisions,...

Last time I checked Palestinians are Sunni & supported by Iran

by ILoveIran on

... as are many other Iranic people, such as in Afghanistan.  It was Iran that took in 3,000,000 Afghan refugees from 20 years of war in Afghanistan without being reimbursed $1 by the International Community who brought the Taliban to power and waged countless wars on Iran's borders.

Keep barking until its bed time at Camp Ashraf.

It's Israel that oppresses Muslims if you want to know the truth.  Iranian Jews have far greater freedoms (and the right to live as members of society) unlike the Palestinians.

Zendanian

Are you surprised how Shia/Persian Chauvinism has undermind

by Zendanian on

Iran's stability?

Allow us to put it to you this way:

What do you think will happen when a bunch of thug Shia/Persian mullahs; kill, incarcerate and destroy Iranian- Arabs, Baluch, Kurd, Turkmen of Suni faith, and to make sure they have an equal opportunity policy they add to that list, Iranian Jews, Christians, Zarathustrians, "non-belivers,"... and basically anything and anybody left in the country?

Do you think Islamic Republic having the HIGHEST RATE OF EXECUTIONS IN THE WORLD, THE JAILS BEING FILLED THREE TIMES THE CAPACITY would have the slightest effect on "national security?"

P.S. Since you "love" Iran so much try and learn how to write correctly in Persian. It's "zendeh baad" not "bd"!

The accusations, threats, and false statements made by separatists are not acceptable.  I have been amazed how people such as Savalan can continue his separatists’ agenda on IC.  If anyone else had stated so many non-senses, he or she would be called anti-Semite or few other not so nice words.

Iran is a country of multi-races, multi-language people who have different religious preferences.  The expired 100 years of agreement with Russia for the lands such as Azerbaijan must be returned to the motherland.

Ajar Iran olma sa, benim vojodum olma sin (Cho Iran nabashad, tan-e man mabad).

Islamic Republic is #1 threat for territorial integrity of Iran

by Zendanian on

"ILI" what you and all other utterly racist apologist and supporters of thugs in Tehran can't understand is that you're Shia/Persian chauvinism is the worst threat for territorial integrity of Iran.

Then again many "opponents" of IR in here hold the exact same racist sentiments as you thug apologists. Congratulations on your thugish union.

Thug apologists lack any integrity to begin with, so exactly what would constitute a threat to our territorail integrity must be truly beyond your ken.
