Childhood Memories

Childhood Memories

From a distance

Drawn to it

Vibrant red as it can be

All those contouring lines

Oh my!

Feels so sticky

Yet so smooth

No rigidness to it

Bends to my will

Eyes closed

Take in its scent

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Smells so sweet

My mouth is watering

Take in the taste

Surprising taste

Delicious strawberries

Memories of my childhood

Sitting on the curb

Eating red licorice

Such simpler times

 Hi! Natalia,

Friday is my last day.......but I will watch World Cup game Mexico vs. France tomorrow at work.......the big boss does not care any more.......so people at work can do whatever they want at this point....yeah!

I hope you enjoy your summer break!

Yes, it has been a long time. Life has been very busy for me off the web. I am glad that you liked the poem.

Yes, I do hope to complete several unfinished poems.

I also will add more to this poem. I agree it could be so much more. :o)

I want to thank you ahead of time for your future song selection. It could use some sweet music. :o)
