I went to Amjadiyeh
by Anonymouse on Mon May 19, 2008 11:39 AM PDTand I was a Tajee. By far the most slogan used against Perspolis was "long-e hamoom ... Perspolis".
There were 3 of us. 2 of us Tajee and one of us Perspolisee. We'd go to Amjadiyeh every week and each week we would go and sit in either Taj or Perpolis section. I sat near Mamad booghe many times.
Since we were friends we would not rat each other when we were seating in the opposing section. We'd just scream our lungs out for our team and our friend would remain quiet, or the 2 of us would remain quiet.
It was lots of fun. Tons of fun. "long-e hamoom ... Perspolis"!!

Hichja Abieyeth, you are off man!
by Amazed (not verified) on Sun May 18, 2008 01:30 PM PDTyou are totally out of touch with reality man. Get out of here! it seems you know nothing about Persian Football and you have been away 40 years or more from the country to utter such nonsense.
The Perspolis and Esteghlal fans are of the same class. The fans are divided throughout different social classes, the base core and the most ardent ones are from lower class and they are equally divided.
Though I should say among the blues you could find more 'bacheh soosools' yet they are basically the same, and in terms of numbers... THE REDS ARE A WAY HIGHER throughout the country. The good guess is that the ratio is 2 to 1 for the reds if not more.
Perspolis resides in the hearts (the heart is damn red) and it is more popular in all classes.
And in terms of style and technique, you are off again man, go get a drink and a nice sleep and stop commenting nonsense. Have you forgotten the 6-0 which you got in the a... and the 3-0 after ther rev?
Perspolis is known for its 'tahajomi' football, and in every game by the reds the fans are expecting many goals because of the offensive style of their play.
And to add more salt to your pain: The blues this season broke their history record of loss and they lost 13 games in on season! They ended up being 13th and this never happened before!
So go get a blue shower and put your damn head to a long sleep dreaming the blues winning in the future!

TAJ HAMISHEH MAHBOUBEH DELHA
The slogan
by Parham on Sun May 18, 2008 08:02 AM PDTI think what Cyros is talking about was the Tajis' retort to
"In var polis, oonvar polis
Hame ja Persepolis"
which was to wait until the red fans would get to sing the second line, in order to replace it (by shouting louder) with a rude comment pointing to the anal penetration of Persepolis!

by Ali P. on Sun May 18, 2008 07:48 AM PDTDear Friend:
I was 14 or 15 at the time, and a die hard Persepolis fan. Someone would lead by shouting out a slogan, and we followed.
"To keh oon goosheh neshastee khafeh sho" was as rude as we got, I thought.
(I recently came across a YouTube video, showing fans in Azadi stadium, shouting profanities, targeting a player's mother! I could not believe what I was hearing)
Now, was the 'iinvar polis, oonvar polis', a 'rude' slogan ?
Mmmm...
Never really thought about it.
I guess it might imply that Iran at the time was a police state, but I assure you, most of us didn't get that.
I'd be grateful if you elaborated.
Yours,
Ali P.

Iinvar polis...oonvar polis...
by Ali P. on Sat May 17, 2008 06:15 PM PDTHAMEH JAA PERSPOLIS!!
Last time I heard those words was 27 years ago in "Azadi" stadium, when I shouted them along with tens of thousands other 'longi' fans! :-)
Good to know Perspolis still rocks!
