Zoroastrian texts such as the Avesta clearly define the status of Persian women and reveal that at a time when many women in the world were deprived of their basic rights, Persian women enjoyed social and legal freedom and were treated with great respect.

This is Q`s lame `response` to the video of how women are really teated in present day Islamic Iran. It is the best this guys could do in face of the ugly reality in front of everyone`s eyes. Don`t bother them too much! Have some pity on their difficult situation.

problems? Don't start again on Islam and 1500 years ago. We are already having alot of issues to deal with both internally and externally. Don't bring Arabs into the picture either - we are already having enough problems to deal with as it is!

I have absolutly no problem with the piece it,s an informing and tastefull Essay. My problem is with the hypocryte messenger aka IRI who broadcast this piece for the outside Iran crowd and Censor anything like this in Iran.Don,t you get it? .To show "us" what a impartial nationalistic regime it is.Yet destrying & consoring 1500 years of Iranian history prior to Arab invasion in High school books in Iran.  personal insults from some Mullah sympathizer  won,t change the facts. It only strenghten my resolve and understanding of the bunch of lampoons that are running the land right now.

Are you being cynical or do you really believe this?

From everything I have studied about Ancient Persia this is one of the pride of our history - are you saying it is all false?

Press TV is propaganda for a certain audience outside Iran. What,s good for outside is not good for the inside.Mullah style.what a hypocracy.

It's interesting they published this on press TV. If they are reading all of this information, I wonder why the IRI is not putting this to practice?

Thanks Q.
