In an Iranian Image, a Missile Too Many

As news spread across the world of Iran’s provocative missile tests, so did an image of four missiles heading skyward in unison. Unfortunately, it appeared to contain one too many missiles, a point that had not emerged before the photo appeared on the front pages of The Los Angeles Times, The Financial Times, The Chicago Tribune and several other newspapers as well as on BBC News, MSNBC, Yahoo! News, NYTimes.com and many other major news Web sites.

I sincerely hope that people in the regime are monitoring us.

Dear Regime Members,

The games that you are playing are great fun to watch.  Congrats and the photoshop photos,   We will give you five points for macho.

I'd like to see real missiles being sent in to the Gulf. I'd like you to use up precious fuel in lots of military exercises and parades.  Please increase the size of your army too. You aren't spending enough on the military.  You need to spend lots and lots of money on arms.

You are beginning to look more and more like North Korea.

Thank you for visiting Iranian.com.  Please visit often and bring friends.

(Normally, I use the Persian Gulf, but it's fun to watch the members of the regime jump up and down when you drop "Persian" from Persian Gulf.  They have no sense of humor so I'm sure none of them will understand my post.)

UPDATE: Guess what?
Iranian Fars News reported that the regime shot off more missiles today:

...More of the same missiles!
They posted the same photos again.

Update: the picture is doctored yet again

by jamshid on

IRI supporters are closely watching in this site. They also have close links to the regime in Iran, or maybe they are watching from Iran?

Just less than a few hours after I exposed the horizon issue in the doctored picture with the three missiles, "someone" corrected the goof and came up with yet a thrid picture!

Download the "newer" picture with three missiles from this site:

//news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080711/wl_nm/iran_nuclear_dc;_ylt=AulxQiggXjp6cmK8GSSYVMtvaA8F

Open it with Paint so you can zoom. Then check out the line of horizon at the center and the right of the picture. They are now "perfectly" aligned! They weren't aligned in this link:

//thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/07/10/in-an-iranian-image-a-missile-too-many/index.html?hp

The imbeciles can't even fake it right! Worst yet, after they are exposed, they can't even correct it right! Can you believe their incompetence? These jokers want to fight off both Israel and US?

Can you imagine what the Israeli or the US military might be thinking about this? Wouldn't you be embarassed?

God save us Iranians.... God save us all...

This was truly pathetic, but it shows IRI is no danger to Israel

by Anonymous8 (not verified) on

that's the real lesson. A "power" that has to manufacture missiles digitally poses no actual threat to anyone. They have probably hyped everything just like this.

now watch all the warmongers shamefully pretend this didn't happen and continue to claim that Iran is a "danger" to the region.

;)

Truth matters....

Indeed Jamshid, you are correct, and thank you for pointing that out. But in this regime, truth takes second place to ideology. And if you challenge that, you must be a Pahlavi Lover:)

Now let's watch as regime apologists just keep going on saying these lies, and ignoring such public demonstrations of their incredibility with no shame whatsoever. I guess it is all good when it is in the name of God and Imam Zaman.

It is too much to expect these guys to be Fair.

by jamshid on

There is no doubt that the four missiles picture was altered. The smoke pattern of the 2nd and 3rd missiles are identical. That's a dead give away.

However, the "three" missile picture is also altered by the idiot Pasdars.

Proof? We know that in a flat land, the horizon forms a straight line. Check out the horizon line in the center and in the far right of the three missile picture. The horizon at the far right seems to be a couple of milimeters higher than the one in the center!

To verify this, open any other window. Move the new window over the picture that has the three missiles. Align the top of the new window with the horizon line in the center of the picture. Then check out the far right horizon line. You'll see that it is higher!

One more reason to be ashamed and embarassed of the IRI, the government of lies.
