SAN FRANCISCO — The era of the American Internet is ending.

"This is one of many dimensions on which we’ll have to adjust to a reduction in American ability to dictate terms of core interests of ours,” said Yochai Benkler, co-director of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard. “We are, by comparison, militarily weaker, economically poorer and technologically less unique than we were then. We are still a very big player, but not in control.”

Mehdi, the same way you leftists and socialists have grip on news Media in the world? Promoting your poisonous, outdated and illogical ideology which resulted in the death and misery of hundreds of millions in the world?

What do you mean “giving away”? You expect other countries to work hard and give the fruit of their labor to you so you can bash them even more? Why don’t you promote for work ethics in Iran? Have you been to a government office in Iran and see how they work (or don’t work)?

That is how the ZioNazis maintain a grip on the world finances - by treachery and deceit and by NEVER giving anything away. Sure, because of that, they have no friends in the whole world and their population is disappearing. But who needs friends when you control the shabby characters in CIA?

I know you are in a rush to bash the U.S every chance you get even if that means you make up things, but maybe next time you want to read the entire article first to make you, possibly although highly unlikely, look less ideologically driven.

Considering that this article is not an exaggeration, it says :  Engineers who help run the Internet said that it would have been impossible for the United States to maintain its hegemony over the long run because of the very nature of the Internet; it has no central point of control. “Internet, just like any technology that gets exported, has become global. It was inevitable for this to happen. Nonetheless, the U.S companies who have outsourced technology, have made mistakes in sharing technologies with the world, some even with unfriendly countries like China. As we saw in the Olympics, many of technologies used in the evenets and ceremonies, were U.S made. What the Bush administrationd and congress didn’t do was impose restrictions on sharing technology with other countries; they should’ve regulated outsourcing of technology
