This has nothing to do whether or not you like the music of Pink Floyd. No one says you have to like them.

The issue is with your classless, tasteless statement where you refer to him a stoner.

The man died of cancer, you jerk.

Also, to put things in perspective, these individuals, to me, have more talent in their pinkys than the keyboardist from Pink Floyd: Bon Scott, AC/DC, Brad Nowell, Sublime, Curt Kobain, Nirvana, Jim Morrison, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Kozmic Blues Band, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Robert Palmer, George Harrison, Faruk Balsara(Freddie Mercury), Marc Bolan, all the members of the Ramones, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Even if he like so many 60s artists did experiment with drugs in his youth, so what? Ebi...thanks for posting the video. I don't know if you saw where at one point towards the end Richard Wright is briefly shown at the piano in a silhouette. It's very haunting.

I thought this video might also be appropriate. It's the final track on what is most likely the final Pink Floyd studio album. It comes with the lyrics so you'll know what I mean.
