The timetable
by Toofantheoncesogreat (not verified) on Mon Dec 15, 2008 12:08 PM PSTTogether they will cost around 20-23 billion US dollars, and will be finished in 2012, official statements say.
This means that the projects will cost 42 billion, and will be finished in 2020, if you look at other projects the government has given estimates on; The Milad Tower, The Bushehr Power plant, various projects in the military etc. that took 10 years more to finish because of boomerang on and off financing, and really bad planning. Not to mention the military cost of protecting these sites.
Good at planning and talking it up...but zero at delivery
by no_name (not verified) on Mon Dec 15, 2008 09:44 AM PSTThey can plan all they want...but until these thing are operational and yielding production level refined goods, they are not worth the paper it was reported on.
