Iran leader orders Muslims to defend Palestinians

Iran's Supreme Leader issued a religious decree to Muslims around the world on Sunday, ordering them to defend Palestinians in Gaza against Israeli attacks "in any way possible", state television reported.Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also declared Monday a day of public mourning in Iran after Israel killed more than 280 Palestinians in two days of air strikes on Gaza."All Palestinian combatants and all the Islamic world's pious people are obliged to defend the defenceless women, children and people in Gaza in any way possible," Khamenei said."Whoever is killed in this legitimate defence, is considered a martyr," he said in a statement.

Ceasefire for ever

I sympathise will the people of Gaza and I sympathise with the people of Israel. The bottom line is Hamas wants to destroy Israel and they have sent rockets for years. If someone did that to my family I would respond. If I thought disproportionate action was the only way to stop the rockets, I would respond disproportionately.

It's easy to grab headlines but hearts will never be persuaded by the actions of the aggressors. As long as Hamas are aggressive the world will view them as terrorists.

They are responsible for the killing and poverty of their own people. They should ceasefire now, disarm and pursue only peaceful negotiations from now on. That way they will no longer be seen as the aggressors and if Israel fails to respond positively the world will judge them harshly.

Today is a new day, the past is the past. Kill no more and live with the borders of today in peace with your neighbours.

who says he does not have the authority. If someone thinks he does not that does not mean he has not.
He is a Marja-i-Taqleed as well as Leader of all the Momineen (whether he is a shia who follows some other mujtahid) or Muslimeen (those who do not think so is their problem).

Khamenei Fatwa:  "All the Palestinian Mujahid and other faithful of the world of Islam are supposed to defend the defenseless people of Gaza. Anyone who is killed in the legitimate and holy defense is a martyr and is hoped to be among the ranks of the martyrs of Badr and Ohud battles in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (S.A.). "

Who knows, they might start an all out war considering that Khamenei now has given Fatwa that all Muslims should fight Israel. One would presume that includes ISLAMIC Republic. ! Khamenei is chief of Iran's Islamic armed forces so doesn't his fatwa include them too?!! 

 I sure hope not!

but there is one more thing, Within the Islamic Hierarchy (Shia and Sunni) he does not even have the authority to issue Religious Fatwa's !

why do these brave leaders of IRI do some thing themself? why don't they get a gun, get in there and fight those awfull jews? how come they always volunteer some one else? Don't they always says martydom is the sweetest thing out there?
