TEHRAN – Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on Friday said that Iran is monitoring the behavior of Islamic countries.
“The Islamic countries should know that we are monitoring their behavior,” he said, criticizing some Islamic states for their indifference to the current disastrous conditions in the Gaza strip.
The Zionist regime has blocked all the roads to the Gaza Strip and put the Gaza residents on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe.
“Gaza’s problems are (the result) of a modern barbarism,” he said.
Larijani pointed to the recent remarks of the U.S. officials, saying, “We are sorry that some officials in the United States repeat that Iran’s guilt is supporting Hezbollah and Hamas. We take pride in supporting Hezbollah and Hamas and the shame is on those who think they can make a breakthrough by besieging a nation.”
