"Pacifist propaganda," Orwell wrote in the 1940s, "usually boils down to saying that one side is as bad as the other, but if one looks closely at the writings of the younger intellectual pacifists, one finds that they do not by any means express impartial disapproval but are directed almost entirely against Britain and the United States. Moreover they do not as a rule condemn violence as such, but only violence used in defense of the western countries.

Or...he would have written all about the zionist/mafia/spy ring around the world. From campus watch site, that blacklists faculty to eavesdropping on US phones calls and cross-referencing of the phone records. Congratulations! You guys have turned the Orwellian nightmare into reality!

'As far as I can see, no therapy short of complete military defeat has any chance of re-establishing the common stability of literature and of the man in the street.'

''Pacifism. Pacifism is objectively pro-Fascist. This is elementary common sense.If you hamper the war effort of one side you automatically help that of the other. Nor is there any real way of remaining outside such a war as the present one.

''What I object to is the intellectual cowardice of people who are objectively and to some extent emotionally pro-Fascist, but who don’t care to say so and take refuge behind the formula ‘I am just as anti-fascist as anyone, but—’. The result of this is that so-called peace propaganda is just as dishonest and intellectually disgusting as war propaganda. Like war propaganda, it concentrates on putting forward a ‘case’, obscuring the opponent’s point of view and avoiding awkward questions. The line normally followed is ‘Those who fight against Fascism go Fascist themselves.’

'though not much interested in the ‘theory’ of pacifism, I am interested in the psychological processes by which pacifists who have started out with an alleged horror of violence end up with a marked tendency to be fascinated by the success and power of Nazism. Even pacifists who wouldn’t own to any such fascination are beginning to claim that a Nazi victory is desirable in itself. In the letter you sent on to me, Mr Comfort considers that an artist in occupied territory ought to ‘protest against such evils as he sees’, but considers that this is best done by ‘temporarily accepting the status quo’ (like Déat or Bergery, for instance?). a few weeks back he was hoping for a Nazi victory because of the stimulating effect it would have upon the arts.'

Perfectly expressed! Amazing how the description matches perfectly certain "lovely group of people" here, in another era and another similar situation.

Alas so few great men of his caliber remain in our time. The rest is just populated by buffoons.

the people with conscience, you may call them pacifists, have been condemning the Anglo aggressions and terrorism, the Islamic, Christian and Jewish atrocities and terror whenever they have happened. Have you not read or heard of all the criticisms and struggles the "pacifists" did against the USSR when it existed, the French in Indochina and Africa, China in Tibet, etc?

I know you're all bent out of shape to see the descent and conscientious people of ALL religions and creeds are expressing their revulsion of the crimes and attrociticies inflicted upon the people in Gaza by the Zionsit Army. 

But then again you can use Orwell to help you to keep the blinders on for your own confort. There's no such a thing as "pacifist propaganda", it's all in your, homey.
