GENEVA, Jan 22 (Reuters) - There is evidence that Israel committed war crimes during its 22-day campaign in the Gaza Strip and there should be an independent inquiry, U.N. investigator Richard Falk said on Thursday.

bbc impartiality?

by mehrnaz (not verified) on

King David, I did not expect impartiality from the BBC! The intention was to inform those he may not know of this decision and may have illusion about BBC 'impartiality' and notion of 'democracy' and 'free speech'. And also for those who have conscience and concern to send aid to Gaza and to publicise this travesty of justice and humanity.

Thank you for posting this.  You should see the comments in Haaretz (centre left paper, Israeli style!) about Richard Falk who is himself a Jew, calling him "long time anti-semite", "Jew hater" etc ... It is mind blowing that the UN Human Rights Investigator is not allowed entry into Gaza for two weeks.

The BBC has also refused to broadcast a national humanitarian appeal for Gaza, organised by DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee) involving 13 charity organisations to raise urgent aid for the imprisoned and dying population of 1.5 million, on the grounds of, guess what ... "impartiality".
