Iraq will close within two months a camp where opposition Iranian guerrillas have been living in exile for two decades, a senior Iraqi security official said on Friday.
"Over 3,000 inhabitants of Camp Ashraf have to leave Iraq and the camp will be part of history within two months," Iraqi National Security Adviser Muwaffaq al-Rubaie told a news conference with Saeed Jalili, secretary-general of Iran's National Security Council.

by rosie is roxy is roshan on Sun Jan 25, 2009 11:22 AM PSTlast I heard Tehran had promised to only prosecute the higher-ups and reincorporate the rest into the society. They are mostly a bunch of traumatized, brainwashed young people. Would Tehran keep its promise? I guess Jordan can't take them in now...
History of MKO is so complex. But most people here want to over-simplify it. It gives a common scapegoat to all these warring factions, it gives time for a breather, it gives a sense of cohesion to the Great Game played out every day on these threads.

Good move by Iraq
by Anonymous8 (not verified) on Sat Jan 24, 2009 03:32 PM PSTno one cares what Europe thinks.

They are being delisted
by Izzy (not verified) on Sat Jan 24, 2009 11:01 AM PSTHey All,
OBAMA has to follow Uncle Sam's rules. Don't call him Hossein. He is a Baptist. IRAN military option is on the table. They have to leave IRAQ in two monthes. yes! The European Union is delabeling them in two weeks. That sounds aweful! People get so excited once he got elected. He is a U.S. president. They burned his photos in TEHRAN lastweek. He is seeing as the enemy of the IRI like Mobarak of Egypt.
They are saddam's terrorists
by no_name (not verified) on Sat Jan 24, 2009 07:34 AM PSTMujahadeen were nothing but Saddam's terrorist. Bunch of opportunist that got us into the IRI mess. They have done nothing, but to make the life for Iranian worst. From the time they sold the country to communist ussr, to becoming Saddam's tool.
If I see one in US I'll be sure to send the spit in their way, for running our lives in the past 30 years by bringing in Khomeni and his gang.
