Iran's president has responded to an overture by the new US president by demanding an apology for past US "crimes" committed against Iran. The US "stood against the Iranian people in the past 60 years," Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said. "Those who speak of change must apologise to the Iranian people and try to repair their past crimes," he said. President Obama has offered to extend a hand if Iran "unclenched its fist".

I wish the Islamic Republic system's days in its entirety were numbered.

Mahmood's demands are just silly excuses nothing more! Even if there is some sort of relationship or cooperation, it will be quite short-term and temporary.

The whole Islamic Republic's establishment was founded on the basis of eternal animosity with the Great Satan. Everything mullahs aims for and wants is completely the opposite of what the U.S. aims for and wants. They are like oil and water.
