Mullahs are just trying to buy time PERIOD

Mullahs are not interested in any lasting meaningful normal relationship with the U.S. and anyhting they would agree to would be temporary and short-term like in Iraq and Afghanistan, just to get Americans off their backs regarding their nukes, destruction of the sovereign state of Israel and pursuit of regional domination.

Their raison-d'être is eternal animosity and fight with the "Great Satan".

They've been blaming all the corruption, mismanagement and incompetence on their eternal "enemy of the state" America and then Israel. How can they part with that? Who will they blame to justify their incompetence when people start standing up to them?

America will not come into Iran to creat jobs, to distribute wealth of the country to Iranian people and to make Iranians prosperous, it is up to mullahs rulers of Iran who run the country to do that. Does anybody see that capability in them? I don't!

Heck If America's friendship could do all that for Iran automatically, there would be no revolution and the Shah's son would now be on the throne.
