Little more than a year after U.S. spy agencies concluded that Iran had halted work on a nuclear weapon, the Obama administration has made it clear that it believes there is no question that Tehran is seeking the bomb. Obama’s nominee to serve as CIA director, Leon E. Panetta, left little doubt about his view last week when he testified on Capitol Hill. “From all the information I’ve seen” Panetta said, “I think there is no question that they are seeking that capability.”

P/S with a friend like Israel, who needs an enemy?
Israel is our friends not our enemy
by Iran Y Beman on Sun Feb 15, 2009 10:29 PM PSTI think when it comes to propeganda, Islamic Mullahrchy in Iran wins it outright with no questions, they know how to play with words and how to play with people, they have been playing us for years since the first movemnt back in early 1900, don't make that mistake to take the side against Israel, Israel is the only friends we could find in middle east, before and after. Mullahs are not making the bomb to use against Israel but they are doing this to stay in power.
This also would pass, the idiological regime in Iran would change and people would take over but lets stay focus on who are our friends and who are our enemies.

by goodcatch (not verified) on Sun Feb 15, 2009 12:41 PM PST"Obama's nominee to serve as CIA director, Leon E. Panetta, left little doubt about his view last week when he testified on Capitol Hill. "From all the information I've seen," Panetta said, "I think there is no question that they are seeking that capability."
The language reflects the extent to which senior U.S. officials now discount a National Intelligence Estimate issued in November 2007 that was instrumental in derailing U.S. and European efforts to pressure Iran to shut down its nuclear program.
As the administration moves toward talks with Iran, Obama appears to be sending a signal that the United States will not be drawn into a debate over Iran's intent.
"When you're talking about negotiations in Iran, it is dangerous to appear weak or naive," said Joseph Cirincione, a nuclear weapons expert and president of the Ploughshares Fund, an anti-proliferation organization based in Washington.
Cirincione said the unequivocal language also worked to Obama's political advantage. "It guards against criticism from the right that the administration is underestimating Iran," he said."

goodcatch, the fact is Israeli PR rules are to lie, deceive, and use gossips and innuendo and obfuscate as much as you can. The problem is Zionist PR heads on this site are not the sharpest pencils in the box. What can I sa, it's our luck to have to deal with these idiots.

tsion(ist), there's no bomb
by Ostaad on Sun Feb 15, 2009 08:54 AM PSTThe NIE said there's "high probability" that Iranians halted their pursuit to makes nukes, and Paneta said they are seeking that capability. Can any sane person conclude there's a nuclear bomb in Iran based on Paneta's statement?!!!
Besides, Iran's nuclear arms policy was publicly announce by Rafsanjani when he was Iran's president. He clearly stated Iran's nuclear weapon policy was to be a "screwdriver away" from nuclear weapons. Considering Iran's security concerns that is a logical and perfectly legal policy. As long as Israel is sitting on a pile of nukes that it has aimed at all population centers in the ME, including the one which have signed peace treaties with the it, Iran and others have the right and the obligation to arm themselves with nukes. A nuclear free ME is preferable and cleanup must start with Israel's "secret" nukes. Nukes in the hands of Israeli career war criminals encourage others to prepare to defend themselves.
