As usual, there was much hype about the IAEA report that Iran has produced more low-enriched uranium (LEU) than it had previously thought. [and]that this means Iran is closer to making a nuclear bomb, an assertion that I refuted in my last article...So, the goal of this article is to discuss such aspects of the report, as well as one important aspect that seems to have been missed by the pundits.

Lying then, or now?
by Fred on Sun Feb 22, 2009 02:40 AM PSTAn unadulterated, direct and very much in context quotation from someone who industriously writes and consistently proclaims to know what the Islamist nuke program is all about:
”The crux of the issue about Iran's nuclear program is, in my opinion, as follows: If Iran has the ability to make the bomb on a short notice, it becomes unattackable. That is not something that the US and Israel can tolerate. They want to be the hegemone of the Middle East.”
The question remains unanswered. Lying then, or now?
