It's the rule of law , people

You break the law by assaulting a foreign leader, you are punished by what the law has prescribed.
No more, no less.

He should have been honored instead

If they had any sense at all, they would have honored him as a hero.

No one else in their puppet leadership is standing up for the victims.

At lease this man showed what they really think about the criminal who invaded and murdered all those innocent people.

He should have been pardoned so that US could claim they have brought democracy to the country.

It would be amputation of both feet in Iran

If they find the shoe thrower who threw the shoe at Ahmadinejad recently, he probably will lose both of his feet.
