Mr. Ali Supreme must cover his ass for years to come. Or as long as Fred blogs.

Agree with Khamenei...despite love for Obama

by LILPERSIA (not verified) on

I never thought I would say this, but I actually agree with Khamenei when he said that it is an insult (perhaps more accurately, twisted) to accuse us of terrorism and in the same message congratulate us and wish us Happy Norooz. I think terrorism is occuring in Iraq and some parts of Afghanistan, when US troops are shooting at civilians and more importantly, they have bombed children, unarmed adults, and in essence raped and are holding hostage 2 countries. Labels on these actions mean nothing. All Iran sees is this, and it feels threatening. Imagine if Russia invaded and bombed Canada and Mexico, and now they are accusing the US of wanting to do bad things to them and that we may be next. Imagine the reaction, the paranoia, the rage. What's the difference? Iran has as much right as the US. America is not the 'parent' of the world, this arrogance is infuriating. Obama needs to lift the sanctions, to prove his sincerity. Think about it, why wouldn't Iranians love and support Obama if he did that and truly made a "CHANGE" happen! I like Obama, but I think we all need to see more than sweet and charming rhetoric. He's much better and more mature than Bush, thank God, but nonetheless, Obama needs to take some positive action beyond words. That would also force the Iranian government to admit they must now return the kindness. It's so simple...
