[Iranian president Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad recruits forces against us, but there are also forces against him, Israeli President Shimon Peres warned Sunday, according to a report in the Jerusalem Post. What happened in Egypt created a fierce opposition and we must unify all his opponents -- the Sunnis and the Europeans, as well as those afraid of nuclear weapons and terror, the Israeli leader said. Peres tempered his saber-rattling remarks by adding that he hoped President Barack Obama's call for dialogue with Ahmadinejad would be heeded.

Why would those who are afraid of nukes and terror...
by Ostaad on Tue Apr 14, 2009 08:55 AM PDTtake Israel's side? It's really laughable when a war criminal, who is the head of a state that was CREATED by terrorists and uses religion and terrorism as its raison d'etre, ignores the destructive impact his policies his country has had on the ME talks about unity with Arabs! Iran may sound menacing to some Arab regimes, but not to the peoples of those countries. That is exactly why the so-called Arab leaders have limited themselves to grumbling instead of open hostility towards Iran.
Egypt's problem is that under Mobarrak, it has become a vassal, and a weak country which does not play any significant role in the Persian Gulf area which is the center of gravity in the ME.
