22-Apr-2009 (one comment)

Western leaders have reacted with anger and scorn to remarks by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the United Nations conference on racism on Monday, which were interrupted by protestors dressed as clowns and by delegates storming out in protest of his harsh criticism of Israel. The U.N. Durban Review Conference is being held in Geneva, Switzerland, to review the implementation of the Durban Declaration of Programme of Action from the World Conference Against Racism held in Durban, South Africa, in 2001.

President Ahmadinejad's speech, audio and video (YouTube) are below. It's fashionable amongst the western Establishment Media celebrities to tsk-tsk at Ahmadinejad and Iran even though few of them have the slightest knowledge of the country. They get all their information about Iran from each other while they're bellied up to the bar after work talking about what a rough, demanding job they have.
