Thanks Ostaad for posting this
by Anonymous.shagerd (not verified) on Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:13 AM PDTIt is good to post these kinds of material to put pressure on IRI.
That is for sure one effective way to make the regime stop killing and harassing innocent people.
Thanks Ostaad!

Just a thought
by Mehrban on Tue Apr 28, 2009 05:35 PM PDTThere have been a number of such crimes that have been publicized on this site. Omidreza Mirsayafi, Zahra Bani Yaghoob, Zahra Kazemi and others. What I have noticed is that news pieces covering these events do not include specific names of officials related to the cases.
What I am thinking is that until there are specific names that are routinely included in the news articles that report such occurrences, or write ups by the family of the victims, no one will start watching their step. What I mean by name of an official is not necessarily the name of the actual perpetrator which in most cases is difficult to find out and also hard to prove, but anyone's name in the chain of command, for instance the name of the head of Police or the name of the head of the prison where the death occurred. Publicly known names of officials in charge.
As long as protests stay general in nature no one will conduct an appropriate inquiry or try to prevent future occurances because no one is held accountable.
Twilight zone
by Hajminator on Tue Apr 28, 2009 07:26 AM PDTYou run up in the discussion with your narrow minded image of how one should be.
I, for my part, am for IRAN in its integrity, I back the progress in my country, love my people and their pains are mines, and I really don’t care what binary guys like you can say about that. The more people as your kind label me the more I feel myself flattered. So go ahead, I have some missing labels here.

by Twilight zone (not verified) on Tue Apr 28, 2009 05:20 AM PDTYou are either with the Islamic Republic or you are not.
If you are, you should accept it in its entirety. If you are not, then you should reject it in its entirety and not only its Velayat-e-Faghih!
Rest assured thats system without Velaya-e-Faghih cannot/will not be a full-feldged Republic either.
So MAKE UP YOUR MINDS.

by capt_ayhab on Mon Apr 27, 2009 03:51 PM PDTMany thanks to you for having this thread.
On February, the anniversary of her death, I posted a thread about her, with only 6 comments. I suppose sadly IF such a news does not make big headlines no one pays attention to it.
Same happened to my 28 year old nephew who was an extremely talented writer, blogger, and poet. A Sharif University PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering who was killed little over 2 years ago, on the 3rd day of Farvardin.
His death tore our family apart, and my sister[Ali's Mother] will never be the person she was. To date they have not been able to solve his death, and your guess is as good as mine sir. My heart goes for her family for I feel the pain they must be going through.
Her blood and his blood[Ali's] were spilled, in cold blood and with utmost brutality and such a talented and beautiful human beings they were.

What makes me laugh
by Hajminator on Mon Apr 27, 2009 01:10 PM PDTis when Antarkibi advocates human rights in UN. Did you know that Mahmoud was charged to give tir-eh khalasse to victims who were executed in Evin?
The history of Ms Baniyaghoob gave me headache last week. These beasts do to Iranians what a victorious army does to its defeated prisoners.
I had heard about Zahra
by Mehrban on Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:44 PM PDTThe juditiary and the law enforcement system in Iran seems to be accountable to no one. I agree with your smart title "killing machine" one hundred percent. Who gives these guys a license to kill with impunity?
Shame on IRI Particularly Ahmadinejad
by Maryam Hojjat on Mon Apr 27, 2009 12:04 PM PDTFor all their crimes against Iranians such as that young physician named Zahra Baniyaghoob.
