Since the publication last week of the Senate Armed Services Committee’s report into detainee abuse in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantánamo (PDF), much has been made of a footnote containing a comment made by Maj. Paul Burney, a psychiatrist with the Army’s 85th Medical Detachment’s Combat Stress Control Team, who, with two colleagues, was “hijacked” into providing an advisory role to the Joint Task Force at Guantánamo.

Now, why would you put so much credence on what the state department says about Iran? They declare Iran a supporter of terrorism, so what. Just because they say it and the corporate media churn it out everyday makes it so?

Why would you be so influenced by such propaganda and disinformation campaign? To what end? Are you one of those so called Iranians that are proud to be called Persian if and only if in your mind, everyone in Iran dresses like europeans, or americans, and our policies are aligned with their interests and then their press and state department considers that Iran of yours as a responsible member of the international community? Then you feel proud to be an Iranian? Right? Your inferiority complex is astounding.
