Arabs have no interest in an Islamic Republic concerned about its
regime, standing, and interests. A pariah or a member of the axis of
evil. Arabs too do not have interest in an Iranian retaliation that
seeks confrontation with the United States on Arab land. Nor in an Iran
that endeavors to destabilize the region or some of its countries in
response to the attempts to encircle it. Arabs have no interest either
in a fearful or feared Iran. Their actual interest resides in Iran as a
great natural prosperous state that is part of the regional fabric, a
mature partner in regional affairs. Iran has the right to play a
prominent role, but not to snatch leadership by force or through a big
deal with the Great Satan.
