Iran's supreme leader urged the public Monday not to vote for pro-Western candidates in the June 12 presidential election, though he gave no clear indication of whether he is supporting hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The critical election pits Ahmadinejad against reformist challengers at a time when the United States — under the Obama administration — is pursuing dialogue with its longtime adversary after years of shunning Iran.

VIVE LA RESTORATION !

LOL

Oh Just one technical note: hypocritically often ignored by most BBC Persian & Al Jazeera journalists ( despite their competence) including David Frost ...

Unlike a Republic, A Monarchy never claims to be a "Democratic Notion" (even if it can be a democratic system of government in its constitutional form ) so The Royal Title is a prerogative that remains as Valid even if one hates the monarchy and even if the fellow is not on the the throne and its "Shahzadeh" literrally meaning "Born to a King" but interpreted as "Crown Prince". You remain King or Prince or Crown Prince unless Beheaded ! ...

Well so far he has been using a large map of Iran and he also been using some of the crown jewles his grand pa and dady stole to make himself a crown and he plays king by siting on the map.

Lately he has relaized that maybe the notion of a king is not selable so he plays mir. prez but he has a hard time accepting that notion.

As they say: arezu bar javanan eib nist.
