The strongest weightlifter in history has come out in support of the incumbent President Ahmadinejad in the upcoming elections. "Due to my heartfelt affections for Dr. Ahmadinejad, I am ready to run his campaign's sports outfit as a volunteer, and in some way repay him for all he has done for the (country's) sports," he told the national Iran TV station yesterday, according to the Tabnak News Agency.

AND we all need to know shahbahn beimokh as you name him also was in Iranian pahlavani sport and we need to mention that also as much as I love Dr. mossadegh we don’t need to trash anybody for what they do without mentioning who they were .

And by the way I hope rezazadeh come back to pro and start working on next world cup.

His insults are also addressed to the Iranian Opposition as well as anyone who opposes the Islamic Republic.

I Feel Insulted too.

Actually I Personally would be VERY PROUD and HONORED to Be On Monkey Mahmoud's Enemy List !

Too Bad You don't seem to share the same resentment for a man who has spitted on the legacy of Human Rights that has forged our national identity since the times of Cyrus the Great and is present in the writings of our greatest poets.

Anyone who brings his support for this man should deserve a Good Kick in the Ass even if he is a World Champion and National Sports Hero !

Kakoo I was merely being Ironic. It is obvious that Reza Zadeh is Not Shaban Bi Mokh and has not beaten up anyone and in addition is entitled to An Opinion.

However being in the Public Eye and particularly when campaigning for a Presidential candidate ( Who he to begin with on the contrary to RezaZadeh has allowed the imprisonment and beatings of fellow Iranians that would put Shaban Bi Mokh to Shame) does not make Reza Zadeh immune to criticism and even mockery.

He knows he can influence others to vote for Ahmadinejad Only because they like Him and Not Mahmoud. There is Nothing wrong with that in the same way one can make fun of Joe the Plummer who supported John MacCain.

I don't think you would have felt offended if someone called the Bald Head an Ass for supporting a Guy who was very much in line with George W. Bush's War Mongering Foreign Policy ...

Now if I insulted those who feel insulted because they are voting for Ahmadinejad ? Well I will put it this way. I would make excuses to them if these were Free and Fair and Lastly DEMOCRATIC Elections. But given that it fails on ALL ACOUNTS, and that they will simply be voting for a member of a dictatorial state (whatever their motivations) I don't intend to make any excuses.

Personally I have chosen NOT to COLLABORATE with the Islamic Republic's henchmen whoever they may be. Reza Zadeh and any other shahrvand is free to do otherwise and I won't hold it against them but won't encourage them either !

But Kakoo if you feel personally targeted I present you my humble excuses.

I have no idea how this branding fits Mr. Rezazadeh.
He is our national hero. How can we parallel him with Shaabaan?
Politics made some reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally blind!

This branding is another gift Englis brought to Iran with the rise of Reza khan mor panj.

People could have different political views but insulting the Iranian champion who has not beaten or enforced anyone to think like him as Shaban Bi mokh is an insult. Please be careful not to make that mistake.

Mr. Rezazadeh is a national champion and Shaban bi Mokh was a stupid "jahel" street gang idiot who harmed people.

He believes that Mr. Ahmadinejad has helped sports in Iran, his opinion. He has every right to be a supportive of Mr. Ahmadinejad and I do not see anything wrong with that.
