Iran's Supreme Leader responded to President Barack Obama's greeting for the Iranian New Year by saying he'd like to see action rather than words from the United States. Meanwhile, President Mahmud Ahmadinejad is using Iran's nuclear nationalism to push his moderate challengers to the political margins. There are indications that behind Obama's olive branch, trouble is brewing.

by Kaveh Nouraee on Wed Jun 03, 2009 09:36 AM PDTI disagree with you regarding Ahmadinejad doing his best. He is fundamentally incapable of performing the tasks he has been given. He is a failure as a manager, a leader, and most of all, as a human being.
As for Khatami, the level of animosity and distrust I have for him is less than for Ahmadinejad or Khamenei or any othe the others, but the fact remains that he is still one of them. And as far as I'm concerned each and every one of them can go straight to hell, although I have a feeling even Satan himself doesn't want to take them in.
As to Obama, yes, slowly but surely, this country is beginning to emerge from the ether that has anesthesized them into this idea that he is the answer to all of our problems and that only he has the cure for what ails this country.
In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. Although he is an extremely likable person, and probably the most charismatic president this country has ever had, he has already proven to be a total failure as president. As a con artist, however, he is probably one of the best.
Kaveh, I agree with you

OBAMA DECEPTION documentary has woke up this nation. He cannot fix the economy at home. The Mullahs are hard to deal with. KHATAMI and AHMADINEJAD did their best. A soft revolution might take place. If not, war is on the table.
Well, what did you expect?
by Kaveh Nouraee on Tue Jun 02, 2009 03:36 PM PDTHow much more proof is needed in order to convincingly show that the mollahs have absolutely zero interest in engaging the U.S. in a civilized manner?
If Obama doesn't take this as the clue that it is, he will end up makng a total ass of himself.
