It is not his only area of expertise and English is not his first language and he hadn't slept and is definitely following Iraq and twenty other places at the same time.

If anything, he was probably competely jet-lagged and working on Iraq and Iran on the same day on fifteen cups of coffee

I am sure he knows which one is which.

Latin Americans having seen all kinds of coup, corruption and military rule, sure understand it all much better than the mainstream western media

Escovar is one of the greatest living journalists,

He explains how the Revolutionary Guards have officiallv consolidate with the Basiji and in the months preceding the election (don't forget-in tandem with worst crackdown on human rights on ALL fronts beginning with Ebadi- previously she was taboo to touch...) increased Basiji recruitment tenfold.

That is why they let them shoot the kids. The goons are in charge and  the Guards pull the  strings of the government.

Now the protesters have stormed a Basiji stronghold (see hourlv updated videos, top homepage, left).

They are right on target.

But what's next?
