Rafsanjani children barred from leaving Iran - report
18-Jun-2009 (4 comments)

Two children of former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a political opponent of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, have been barred from leaving Iran, the semi-official Fars News Agency said on Thursday. Rafsanjani's daughter Faezeh addressed supporters of defeated presidential candidate Mirhossein Mousavi on Tuesday when they gathered near the state television building in Tehran in defiance of a ban on opposition protests. Fars did not give a source for its report. It said around 300 people demonstrated outside the Tehran prosecutor's office on Thursday calling for Faezeh and her brother Mehdi to be arrested.

What about the other clergy's children?  Can they still go visit their investments abroad?

let them all leave.  Take all their ill gotten gains and the lot of them leave Iran for good.  Just dast az sareh kachaleh een melat bardaran. Just think when this whole 30 year nightmare is over, this fucking cult we call Islam will go into the dustbin of history along side the whore-house frequenting Mohammad, its founder.
