Lessons from Iran, 1977-78

The language, religion with its daily audible call for prayers and even the dress of Iranian women seemed to be almost an affront to some Americans who were there to teach their technology to the backward Iranians.

Over the coming weeks and months incidents of American arrogance in their treatment of Iranians became evident, leading to even a few episodes of street fights between Americans and Iranians. Good salaries attracted Americans to Iran at that time and the negative attitude communicated by a few Americans toward Iranians prompted Iranians to resent the Americans' presence.

Mr. Kashani,

Hummm! How "entertaining" you managed to be, to say the least.

It is inteesting the show you and your "comrad" Fred put up here. Both of you think of yourselves as the "Shahs" of Iran and dictate to others to no avail.

Quite frankly, both of you are boring and to a good degree numb. You ask why? Well, only those with inferior and incapable minds would bully and shoot the messanger rather than engae the message itself. Individuals like you see to know so well that any other idea is aimply "non existant".  How funny indeed, both of you claim democracy wishes for Iran.

For one thing, The article at hand is not written by a Jihadist, terrorist lest by me. It was written by a mid ranking member of the US armed forces. Second, You have no idea as to what my believes are short of shooting me. For your information, I was on the receiving end of the US racism in Iran, in my own country with the blessing of the Shah.

Next, the artilce is far more telling than I could try to distort any facts. In fact, the reading the article and living the US history in the Middle East post 1970's would simply point to the very fact that Americans racism attitude towards not only Iranians but also any muslim citizen in the Middle East did not grow roots just before Iraq invasion rather it blossomed then to its full size.

The history is quite honest, unlike you and your buddy here "Fred". You are both entertaining to no limit when accusing others of distortion while people like you totally disregard history as it just pased before your very eyes.

Regardless of what my idea for future Iran may be, but you and alike who claim Democratic wishes for Iran will HAVE TO swallow other opinions. That is only true if people like you are true as to what they claim. But the evidence illustrates that if you take over the power in Iran she will experience dire consequeces similar to Mongul times.

But I have no problem with your color less ideas as long as it will others, hopefully the majority, who will decide on Iran's future albeit after reading your comments and artcles and mine.

Enjoy HollyWood!

You can take your desperate and pathetic, yet sneaky, attempts to somehow say that the movement for freedom and democracy in Iran will somehow lead to us losing our sovereignty, and shove it down your …toilette.

This “blame America” game and xenophobia won’t work anymore. It never did, and it certainly wont work no more. You guys tied it for 30 years, day and night, and what happened? Iranians reject you and so does the world. And now, the world has realized how much BS that propaganda contained.

So you can post all the conspiracy theory delusional opinions and propaganda you want on this site. That will not change the ultimate result, which is the collapse of your beloved Fascist IRI regime. In case you haven’t noticed, the people have clearly spoken.

Just remember, the people of Iran and all around the world who support them, will remember who, Iranian or non Iranian, stood with them in their time of need and who was “trying to justify IRI crimes” and try to perpetuate propaganda to relay this idea that we should be aware of “American GIs” coming to Iran if we ask for freedom and if we ask for the removal of barbaric IRI.

Remember that!
