به هر حال یک حادثه‌ای رخ داده و مردم به آن اعتراض دارند؛ باید اشکالات را رفع و مردم را قانع کرد. حل این مسأله می‌تواند با تشکیل یک هیأت بی طرف صورت پذیرد. فضای امنیتی و نظامی کنونی نیز باید تغییر کند و جامعه را به سوی آرامش برد. من معتقدم هنوز هم همه راهها بسته نیست. ما رهبری را دوست داریم و نسبت به ایشان علاقه داریم. ای کاش می‌توانستم آن چه در جلسه مشترک میان ما و ایشان در جلسه‌ای که در روزهای قبل از تصمیم گیری من برای کاندیداتوری گذشت را بیان می‌کردم. برای ما اصل نظام و انقلاب مهم است. باید فضایی وجود داشته باشد که هر کس آزادانه حرف خودش را بیان کند و فضا طوری باشد که در آینده مطمئن باشیم مردم به عرصه می‌آیند. باید اصولگرایی و اصلاح طلبی را از نو معنا کرد و عقلای قوم حتما می‌توانند به نظرات مشترکی برسند. می‌شود ساز و کارهایی دید و تعریف جدیدی از موقعیتی که در دنیا داریم ارائه دهیم و با ایجاد توازن بین نیروهایی که در جامعه ... >>>

I never liked Khatami. never trusted him and never will and I was so glad he chickened out and did not run as candidate. He is such a two faced sucker and has always been. In fact , him and AN were the two that I would not have voted for under any circumstances!

Khatami did not order the execution of detained demonstrators but he says he loves the man who did order it!

But Mousavi's popularity among the youth was because of him!

We should accept this fact that the reason the youth overwhelmingly followed Mousavi was because Khatami supported him and stood by him in his campaign pictures.

It is not what Khatami is, was or what he could do or couldn't do but what he represents that matters to the youth and the reason they are still gravitated towards him! yet everybody knows he is an impotent cowardly mullah who kisses Mullah Ali's butt every chance he gets and called any change to the IRI constitution and abolition of Velayat-e-Faqih system a treasonous act.

Yet now, we all know that the majority of the youth and others (except for a very confused few) are/were using Mousavi as an excuse, and a shield (to protect themselves) to impose their will upon the unreformable IRI!

Besides, where could they find a transitional leader (they desperately needed) better than Mousavi an insider?
